[Fanaccount] Yoosu during JYJ Dream Cup in Vietnam

These YooSu moments were spotted and told by Kim Shura.

At first they were hanging around at the JSF player's rest area, then they went to sit in VIP area but there were no seats, so they went back inside. God, they chatted like crays (T/N lol sorry for this. But it's exactly the word she used). They were having so much fun, unlike when they were in front of the press, their faces were cold TAT, but at that moment they were, in fact, crays. They teased each other and then Su changed to JSF uniform and did some warm up, wanted to play very much... In the second half of the match. Junsu went to play. Before he went to the field, Yoochun PATTED HIS BUTT and said "Hwaiting!", which made Jaejoong burst out laughing.

When Junsu got the ball, Yoochun even jumped up and cheered loudly xD So cute...So adorable...I'm going to die grinning. xD

They took great care of each other... Su asked Yoochun about his problem at the airport. The look on Yoochun's face made me want to punch him so bad xD... Unfortunately, there were no seats so Jae and Chun had to go back inside. I still remember when Junsu made a dangerous pass, Yoochun excitedly jumped up and down xDDD

I love the fact that since I got into A9 I basically never close the deshi jisho on my browser. Coincidentally after all the time there seemingly wasn't a Japanese drama that would catch my attention, now I'm watching 3. Surprisingly my goal to learn some Japanese during the summer goes well. I get surprised every now and then when I manage to read kanji I had no idea I could recognize. I even tried to read that article in my old Arena37c and was surprised I could read whole passages.

But that's not what I was going to write about. At first I was a little disappointed that Shou doesn't write music, but now I understood what an amazing job he does writing lyrics to other people's music. Luckily my Japanese allows me to appreciate some of it and I see how he always seems to go an extra mile with the lyrics and concepts.

Even the band's name used this really old kanji that is basically redundant. He used to say he wanted to emphasize their Japanese origin. But I also like to think it's not completely incidental that in includes the kanji for 虎.

I try to learn some words and kanji by remembering the song's titles at least. But with A9 it proved to be more difficult than I thought. So happened when I fell in love with the song 昴 (すばる ) which signifies the Pleiades constellation.

Shou : Subaru refers to the Pleiades, although there are many tiny stars, when they come together one by a great light emitted. I put the message that even an insignificant person I can shine when I'm with the others, I wrote this because when we are alone it is impossible for us to shine, but if we are together, our strength increases.

It was only later that I found out the band often uses references to stars and such. Another song I really liked was 胡蝶蘭 (こちょうらん ) which means moth orchid.

Even when the titles may seem simple enough there's always a way to differ. Take 華, for example, which is usually written as 花. Or 百合は蒼く咲いて where Aoku is written with 蒼, not the usual 青. My Japanese is very poor but I can't help but notice these things.

Maybe Shou wanted to educate the kids a little?) Either way it's really exciting. The boy has more brains than I could imagine.

2011 Releases Semi-finals

TETSUYA - COME ON!
Just a nice album. Tetsu had never been a great vocalist but he has his own style and it seems he's content where he's at. And I like him this way.

C.N. Blue - First Step
Really impressed me in a good way. I really like about half of the songs from track 2 to track 8. They clearly are a band with potential. Lately I couldn't care less about K-pop but bands like C.N. Blue and FT Island still keep me mildly interested in the K-music scene.

GACKT - Episode.0
Well, it wasn't impressive, but I think it's an OK song. Sadly Gackt can hardly disappoint me any more, musically that is.

L'Arc~en~Ciel - GOOD LUCK MY WAY
Very l'arkish song. I do think it's good, but somehow it just didn't stick with me.

Alice Nine - GEMINI
A great album. I already dedicated a whole post to it, so that sums it.

Jang Geun Suk - Let Me Cry
Quite a nice single for a debut. Lately Jang Geun Suk kind of disappointed me because he seems so full of himself, but he's still a great actor and a pretty good singer and there's something about his voice that has a very deep effect on me. Hope to hear more from him.

Park YooChun (JYJ) - 너를 위한 빈자리 (미스 리플리 OST)
The song is pretty nice. It's not much, but I guess I just love Yoochun's voice so any ballad he sings will do.

I registered at Nico Nico and watched The Summer PSC Visual Battle Royale online. I wasn't going to watch it in the first place (since Shou wasn't there) but when I saw it airs RIGHT NOW I just rushed to register and watch. It was pretty fun, actually, even though I don't care about 3 other bands present. Tora looks criminally hot these days and that face he made when they voted him the most annoying PS member when drunk... RAWR! Also other bands experienced the White Box)

This is my first time watching something online. I was almost expecting lags and poor quality, but it was as good as a recording. I kept trying to find the Pause button) it still seems so unreal knowing this is REAL-TIME)) And you can add comments too. Now I guess I'll watch some A9 Channel too.

Yesterday's A9 Channel was really something! I really loved the fact that Shou co-hosted. I wish they's always do it) Tora was kind of like: and now my lovely assistant will demonstrate! Tora looks really hot btw and Shou seems to have lost a lot of weight, those cheeks just stick out. But still gorgeous though.




People at Nico Nico are seriously sadistic. They just collected all the things they hated doing in one episode. Nao is such a girl it's not even funny most of the time. How can they see him as any sort of authority is a mystery to me. But it was just plain mean. Poor Nao. I really felt sorry for him. But then I think I really begin to understand what Tora meant saying that Shou is very manly. Sometimes it seems he's the only one who has balls in the band, maybe Hiroto too.

Also love the new image. And in that picture Tora was so glad to be in the middle for once and I just realized that even though they don't have a particular standing order, Shou always ended up in the middle. Not particular waiting for subs as there isn't much to translate, really but then I'll get an excuse to watch it again.

F.T. Island to perform at Budokan in July

Today South Korean band F.T. Island held a special event for their new song “SATISFACTION,” that was released on April 20th in Tokyo. On that occasion, the band also announced that they are going to perform at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on July 29th.

F.T. Island debuted in Japan last May and have been working hard since then in order to earn them many new Japanese fans. The efforts paid off, as they are going to be the first South Korean band to perform at Budokan.

Vocalist Lee Hongki, who can currently be seen in the Japanese late-night drama “Muscle Girl!” with Ichikawa Yui, appealed to their fans in perfect Japanese, “Please look forward to this concert, everyone!”

That day the band performed “Satisfaction” and two more songs for the 2,500 fans that showed up at each of the two performances. Tomorrow they will repeat the same procedure in Osaka, which should result in a total of 10,000 happy fans.

Woah, that was fast! It took even THSK over 2 years to get to that. I mean I'm glad for them but it seems way too easy. J-Rock bands work very hard to get to that level and it's one hell of an achievement. A9 took 6 years to play at Budoukan so they only played there first in January this year. Well, anyway: Congrats, boys!

Fallout 3

It was a tough decision, but I finally deleted the Fallout 3 iso that I had for 3 years now. It didn't work for me at the time probably because of the video card, but now it might have, but thinking it over one more time I decided it won't do me any good. I was a big fan of Fallout 2 playing it several times nad I remember the excitement of all the gamers who waited 10 whole years, but... The 1st person perspective kind of freaks me out. The dark and violent atmosphere didn't bother me with 1998 graphics, but but this is so much different. Anyway, I know it was the right thing to do. I saved some several weeks of my life and a hell lotta nerves.
