This has to be the thrashiest drama I watched this year. Hopefully. But since I struggled through it I might as well write a few words.

I was actually looking for something very simple and fun to watch, good entertainment and this seemed like a valid option. It's basically a spy comedy drama or more accurately a spy parody. I thought My Boss My Hero was ridiculous but that was nothing compared to the level of stupid in this one. You can just throw all reason out the window before watching. And it was kind of amusing but I think I mostly laughed at the ridiculousness than actual humour. And then there is the star cast of Nagase Tomoya, Fukada Kyoko and wtf Sekai no Nabeatsu. Basically, Ep. 1 was fun enough to make it to Ep. 4 and then, you know...

But the reason I began to watch it in the first place: Episode 4 aka Free! live action.

It’s one of those rare roles where Massu gets to be badass and actually act very rude even to his seniors. It’s almost strange to see him not smiling for so long. But I have to say he did it right because looking at him here you don’t really see an adorable manchild, but a very attractive young man. I suppose him sporting nothing but swimming trunks in most scenes helps. Yes, please. The premier made some hot sons, that bitch. Wait, that makes him, Kyosuke and the schoolgirl half-siblings?



But overall the plot or the excuse for the plot seriously sucked especially since the main intrigue and the background plotline was not resolved at all and I hate that. Also up until ep. 10 I honestly thought Dorothy has had a sex change. What a disappointment. I feel like I could come up with a better sсript. I have to say I normally don't mind the lack of romantic plotline development but this time I was kind of hoping for one. Kyosuke and Dorothy were so cute together and they obviously had feeling for each other so why the heck not? Anyway.

Rating: 5 (watchable)
