I don’t wanna feel Blue anymore...
I finally sorted out my main priority fandom tasks - completed the Crash Course and more or less dealt with the DVD. Now I'm concentrating on writing and videos.
The former is going pretty well. I feel like it's going to take long to complete the two stories. Even though I have Benefits 60% written and the first half is pretty good, I feel like the second half will require a lot of editing. All of the dialogues in the end are what I worry about the most. I mean overall I guess there's nothing wrong with long Salingeresque dialogues but not in my type of story. It's not a slice of life, it doesn't fit in with the flow so I need to think about how to cut it down to the essentials.
As for the videos it's really problematic. I can't get Movie Maker to save videos and I can't get SonyV to read the avi cuts so it doesn't work out. Overall, that and also other progs that don't work on the XP drive me to the conclusion that switching to a newer Windows is inevitable. I'm really lazy to do it but in the end I think it makes sense. I think I'll try to at least finish Neverwinter Night but lately I don't feel like it at all. At any rate I'll need to research which version is the best first. So annoying.
