Kim Jaejoong - Mine 3/5
I was really excited when I heard that Jae's album was going to be rock. Well, yeah. Kind of rock, 2 songs. It's still a decent album, I just had high hopes for it, I guess. There was also a repackage but I would prefer to pretend it never happened. Shhh.
Alice Nine - Daybreak, Shadowplay, Shooting Star 3/5
3 months, 3 disappointments. After '9' I was really hoping they will give me a good legit reason to like them, music-vise. But alas. And Shou, I love you and proud of your efforts but maybe you should try writing more songs before sticking them as singles? Not all was bad though. Himitsu was pretty interesting and then there's Scarlet. If it wasn't for Scarlet might have been 2/5. I don't even look forward to new songs any more. Too painful.
ViViD - Answer 3/5
Basically, ViViD is a band I don't expect much from so this time was no different. I mean it's a decent song but like most of their songs it's kinda boring. The PV too. But it's definitely not bad. As long there's Reno and Shin looking good it works for me.
Kim Junsu - Incredible 2/5
More like incredibly disappointing, really. Sorry, baby, but this is just no deal. I watched the showcase and that's when I realized Tarantallegra is actually a pretty good song. And it's not just the title song feat the son of P. Fucking Diddy Whatever. I listened to the album like a good girl, 3 or 4 times and it's just hopeless, not a single song that I like. 11 AM was so refreshing but honestly it's the only decent song in there. This would be no surprise for someone who has no talent, but you Junsu, you could do so much better. No excuse for you, Mister.
Not even going to write about Vamps, I never even had a song of theirs I really loved apart form Evanescent and maybe Life on Mars? but the latter doesn't quite count. And I stopped checking out the old man Gackt a few years ago. Someone better release something really awesome soon.
