I don’t wanna feel Blue anymore...
I finally watched the full 3-DVD edition of the TARANTALLEGRA Lice Concert and here's my piece of mind.

Three words: Junsu, you rock!

Extended review: When I first got into TVXQ Junsu was ranked at #5. A few months later he moved to #3 but even at that time I realized that he is undoubtedly the most talented member of the 5. He is an absolute natural in both singing and dancing. After being reduced, so to say, to JYJ it became apparent that not only is he the most talented, he is also the most hardworking at least when it comes to live performances. He's the only one who really gives it his all, without trying to slack off like the rest.

I don't want to go too deep into it but this concert confirmed one thing: Junsu is way above the JYJ level. The other two just slow him down as an artist. I was especially impressed when he pulled off Mission alone and it sounded better than it did as 3. Now I'm not going to say anything about the music, it's as average as ever and his voice could do so much better. I also don't want to bitch about the female dancers and some of the obscene vulgar choreography - there wasn't that much of it. Above all this concert was very whole and balanced and performed at a very high level. Singing, choreography, performing - everything was immaculate. Not just that but you could see he gave it 101%. There wasn't a song where he wasn't dripping with sweat or his neck didn't strain with veins. And that tender look on his face when he sings ballads... And then he cried at the end of Fallen Leaves... Aww.

Moreover, this tour has really shown his capability not only as a performer but as an accomplished solo artist since he also wrote a good portion of the music, worked on the choreography and overall concept.

I'm also glad I watched all 3 DVDs too since the 3rd DVD contained an interview and perhaps I never enjoyed a Junsu interview as much as I enjoyed this one. It revealed a young but very mature artist who knows exactly what he wants and knows how to make it happen. I've been looking over Junsu for over 6 years now and I am very glad to see him grow from a boy into a fine young man, wiser but still just as genuine. But more than anything I saw a man who found, fought for and won his place in life and is really happy and fulfilled.
