What a sad life I'm having! I've seen three funerals and not a single wedding yet.
Today was hard. But not as hard as I thought it would be. I said a proper goodbye and I let go and I feel relief. She had more life in her than several ordinary people put together. She has seen war and desperation and loss but she always walked forward with a smile, full of optimism and determination. One thing she lacked was peace, always on the run, never slowing down. So rest in peace now, Sophia.
