I don’t wanna feel Blue anymore...

I don't really feel like writing it, but it will haunt me, so there we go.
Short version: disappointment.
Long version:
I think Korean dramas in general are too long and towards the end get too sentimental/boring. The best part is usually the middle. With Ripley it was pretty boring watching the Ep.1-3, then it began getting interesting and I really got into in by about Ep.6, but somewhere around Ep. 10 it began to get lame and at the end of Ep. 14 I was, like: WTF? Nao really? How many decent Korean dramas were spoiled by a crappy end? A lot. It's always one of these plot killers - an amnesia, being hit by a car/train/airpalne, "Luke, I am your father" shit or all of the above. And of course this inevitably brings us to the sappy teary scenes which I personally find repulsive.
Now for the plot. The overall idea was not bad and for me the main charm of the film was watching the intricate web of lies that Miss MiRi have thread. The main lead was pretty good. But there are so many poor plot turns and times I went "Oh, please!..." I can't even count. I can tolerate it in a comedy, but a drama won't be spared. I felt really bad for Hee Ju. Normally I don't like that sort of clumsy characters, but somehow I really sympathised with her. As for Yoochun, truthfull for all the praise from the critics he didn't impress me at all. How hard is it to play a man in love with a beautiful woman? Unless you're gay, of course.
Just a random remark: The unnatural pink blush annoyed me throughout the whole drama - used on every female actress and looking weird on each.
But above all I really hate the morals of the story: everyone's a victim, it's all the miserable childhood and all that crap. As if bad childhood justifies being a deceptive bitch. It really pisses me off - all the shit she caused everyone and in the end they all felt guilty because everyone and their Mum (literally) seemed to be responsible she turned out this way. I was very grateful that she didn't end up with HyunJun at least. Also: hello, Japan hatred! - the abusive slave-driver Japanese parents shit was just ridiculous.
