I don’t wanna feel Blue anymore...
The news that Gackt will be producing & writing music for another artist for the first time came out almost 2 weeks ago, but the only Japanese article I've seen about it is this one Gackt will be producing the first Japanese album of a Chinese singer, Ji Min Jia (‹I•q‰А). It's probably not too surprising, considering Gackt's interest in Asia & in crossovers between languages & cultures~ The album is due to be released in Autumn/Winter. Ji Min Jia went to Japan at the end of August, and it seems that she & Gackt started recording on 9/2.
In her latest album released in July, she did a cover of 'todokanai ai' called 'First Love', and it sounds like she received some criticism from Gackt fans about it. But maybe there was more of a reason behind it than people realised at the time. Gackt also wrote a song about his Taiwanese friend who passed away last year, and it seems that Ji Min Jia is going to be singing it.
In other news, You-kun said that he went to Hyde's concert last weekend, and he & Chacha both went to Anna Tsuchiya's concert a couple of days ago to see Ju-ken ^^
