JLPT 2012

今日天気はいいから散布しましょう。If you know what I mean...

Just took the JLPT. It was tough but that's not new. As I expected, I didn't do well in the 1st Part but I'm pretty sure I got at least 1/3 right so that should do. The second part was the trickiest — I was expecting to do well and I did actually but the problem was that I am a slow kind of person so I didn't have time to do it. Out of 5 or 6 texts I ran out of time with 3 still left. So hello random dots. But thankfully the Listening Part was really easy so I'm sure I got more than 2/3 right. So in total at worst I think I got half of it right so I should meet minimum passing requirements. Hopefully. All in all this is what I excepted. So until March I won't really know. But honestly I already feel like a winner, just from going through with it.

Still struggling...

So my last attempt to reinstall the whole thing ended in complete failure. But of course I didn't give up, instead I uninstalled everything deleting all trace of it on my system and then set the whole thing up again, step by step. Well, actually I'm still at at. I want to make sure it won't go crashing on me when I get back to my precious game so I created a new game especially for testing purposes. It's going good enough so far, I set up most of my CC except the game mods. I have terrible luck with them, going one step forwards, two steps back. It's working fine but as soon as I place a few mods - it crashes so I have to go back and try again. It's kinda frustrating.

Also currently going through all of my CC. I actually deleted the DCC cache. It was about time, really. My standards have increased a lot. Also this wonderful tool called S3PackageViewer enbles to extract single items from the set. Yay! So I am going through the set one by one saving the stuff that I might actually use. I also am finally able to name the packages to my liking. So now I have the decentwardrobe, lamekitchensink and okcookingstove. Then I basically went through all the Store stuff, deleted what I didn't want and downloaded what I wanted.

But that aside I'm still having fun with the game. I finally decided to explore the acrobat career. My boy is fabulous) Sexy outfits ftw ♥ Last one is custom though.



I decided not to fiddle with Seasons for now but I did patch up to 1.42 which brought some nice new features. Those include... swimming in the sea (about time!), new attraction system and... bananas! )) Also I got the basketball set.

I want to put this whole T&B thing to a sort of a closure, well, for now obviously. Yet it's not that simple. I did exhaust most resources - after anime and manga I raided a number of comms for art and I still end up at Pixiv because the number of T&B art there is simply innumerable. Also I finally got around to paying a visit to Fanfiction.net and was pleasantly surprised. I was particularly impressed by one author. Her stuff is varied and fresh, but basically it's touching and hot and as good as it can get, really. It's actually a bit too much in a way. I mean she wrote about 300 fics for T&B alone, though most of them are small, small is what I need right now. I really love T&B and yet anime and RPS are two very different things.

So the point is I feel it is time to go back to my own niche, I feel a bit like cheating and all and I want to get back to writing fics and stuff but I don't feel quite up to it just yet. Oh well...

JLPT is up on Sunday. It makes no real difference in my life whether I pass it or not. Yet I shudder at the thought of it. All I did so far was open some sites with required material, freak out, close it all and forget about it. But thin time I did all of the testing assignment and although the result seemed pretty poor in terms of scoring I still would have passed, even though barely. My Reading seems to be surprisingly good while Vocabulary/Grammar is lacking. But I will try to do some catching up this week. Yosh!

[NEWS] JYJ and SM Entertainment’s legal battle comes to an end

The legal battle between JYJ and SM Entertainment has finally come to an end!

After what seems like forever, the two sides are reported to have come to a mutual agreement on the 28th.

It is said that SM Entertainment and JYJ have both withdrawn all lawsuits against one another, and have agreed to not interfere with any of each other’s activities.

The long drawn out fight was started back in July 31st, 2009 when the initial lawsuit was filed against SM Entertainment by the three members of JYJ, who were part of TVXQ, requesting for the cancellation of their contracts. Since then, the two sides failed to reach an agreement every time and was due back in court again later this year.

It seems the legal battle is now over, and both sides, especially JYJ, can work towards moving forward free of the legal issues that had been holding them back.

And I woke up to this. All I can say is: THANK GOD! IT'S ABOUT FUCKING TIME! More than 3 fucking years. I thought it would never be over. I'm amused at all the butt-hurt TVXQ fans who bore some kind of stupid hope that JYJ will "come back". Yeah, right. Anyway, it is still largely unclear what this means for the boys. Somehow I highly doubt SM will just let them be and they will get to perform as much as they want. So far only KBS had the balls to say the issue with JYJ's appearances is clearly solved. But either way hopefully some changes will occur.

Hopefully, I will never have to use my Lawsuit tag again.

Finally learned making gifs with Photoshop. Spent hours on it, made this lovely gif, then tried to resize it for tumblr but it doesn't work, it's the right size and not that bright, I just don't get it... Ugh. What's worse, when I tried to upload to Photobucket but it resized my gif to an ugly state... Then I remembered there seemed to be a 2 MB limit....

Ma Boy

Honestly I missed Korean dramas with all the clichés, the 'Yah! and the 'Ottoke' and 'jukeullae?'... And this drama is exactly that. It's predictable as hell but very funny and sweet.

Seeing this drama I know a lot of people went "It's about time!" Because it is, really. And I personally approve. Sun Woong made a decent girl. I mean his body and manners were hardly girly (and his big feet) but at least they tried to justify it and stuff. My mum bought it. Xd Plus I actually kinda like the girl, she's cute. All in all I really enjoyed it. I wish it was a full-length drama though. But it's probably the first drama that's released by some obscure channel so maybe they didn't have the costs.

Either way: Pass!

Lately I've seen a lot of people bitching about Russian sites stealing their stuff and the like. Some were appalled, some even threatened to quit making stuff and such. How unreasonable.
Here's what you need to know:

The best thing about Russian sites: They have EVERYTHING. Like, seriously, where do they even get that shit?
The worst thing about Russian sites: "Copyright? What's that?" They will steal your stuff and probably won't even credit you. Deal with it.

That said, technically I'm semi-Russian. But even since I discovered internet I've always been a part of international fandom so I don't really associate myself with Russian-speaking communities. But I can understand both mentalities. I wonder if that's a part of out communist legacy, 'everything for everyone', for free, complete disregard of intellectual property. But whatever the reason might be there is no way you can make our people obey all the rules and restrictions. Not gonna happen.

Spent all evening tweaking the PC. But the more I tried, the worse it got. First wrong driver update, then some kind of graphic collapse and ended up with damaged Windows. Thank God it repaired without problem. I'll be really careful with that shit from now on.

Sims 3 is being a mega-bitch to me again. I spent, like, 3 days setting it up, and it kept crashing and whatnot and last night I took out all the game mods and it finally seemed to be working and so I played for about 15 minutes but then it was about 4 AM so I decided to call it a night but just as this this thought passed in my head the damn thing crashed. Frustrated is not a word to describe it. Looks like I'll have to start a new game anyway even though there is no new town in EP8.

I know the system requirements are OK so I get paranoid about the video card and stuff. Currently updating all of my drivers. Hope is does something apart from eating on my HD space.

Just Dance (Simvideo)

I made this video about 1,5 years ago inspired by all the incredibly gay club dancing in Late Night EP as well as clubs and stuff. At that time I couldn't make my own clothes so I had to make do with what was available. But when the video was almost done I decided that the clothing was a bit too much and I wanted to re-do half of it and in the end I never did that and then Alice Nine happened and...you know. But now I found it and I decided "What the heck"? All in all it was meant to be ridiculous and very gay. And I really enjoy it, it's so fucking funny.
