I've got constant urge to post this or that photo so in the end I decided to make a picspam to end with it. These are my favourites. Damn Photobucket for resizing though.
Singles:
MoreQ: I hate pink, why do I find Jae's boots cute? A: Jae can get away with anything.
Soulmate:
And more...
And of course I couldn't ommit Junsu's overcompensating asset.
Other than that though I can't help the feeling that there's so much we don't know. There's so much more about this. I might be able to let go, but with the way Jae cries... It's funny how Yoochun was always deemed the crybaby and now he's the best at holding up among the three.
This post was written about half a year ago but was never posted. In the end I still want it to be. ***
“I love you, Yunnie-ah,” Jaejoong said, a quiet drop of affection in the sea of black sorrow surrounding them.”
So I’m finally done with On The Red Couch, the forth major installment in the So Much Mine series. It describes the events before the events of Tarnished Angels and ends after . The novel centers on YunJae, Though there’s a lot of MinSe7en and a bit of Yoosu. Yoosu’s the only ones who don’t seem to have any trouble, so they don’t get much airing. It deals with a number of things. The first two parts mostly concentrate on violence. Sexual and psychological. It’s really not for the faint-hearted (like me). Thought there aren’t many graphic descriptions, some parts were really hard for me to read. Suffering of a character can be difficult to stomach, even more so when it’s about someone you’re emotionally attached to. But the scariest thing of all is that somehow it resonates with something deep inside of me, even though there’s no reason why it should.
I’d like to include the words from the author: While this is fiction, the issues that I try to talk about in the SMM universe are real. From hiding what you are because of hatred...to sexual assault... to learning to love yourself for who you are; all of these things are out there and should be talked about.
“We’re Korean, Yunho. Our lives aren’t our own. They never were. Everything we do is for our parents and those around us.”
The 3rd part is mostly dedicated to the problem of dealing with Yunho’s father and parental issues in general. The whole situation seems very relevant for modern Korean society.
“No matter what…” Turning his head, Yoochun let the glisten fill his eyes, weeping silver down his face.“I never want to lose this… them… us. Never, Joongie-ah.”
The whole deal with their manager trying to break them apart, telling Yunho and Changmn they aren’t good enough sounded like a self-fulfilling prophecy since it was written before the real drama began. Even though I found it quite unconvincing. I’m not too fond of the ending either. Too much sentimental crap, trying too hard to compensate the pain in the first half of the novel. And it felt unnatural.
Then there’s “Love Much Mine”. There’s not much to tell. I suppose all the angst run out in OTRC. Half of it is NC-17 and the other half is R. They either have sex or talk about sex. Especially Yunho and him bottoming issues – but I really think she made a great characterization.
Even though I got used to the sweetness in her style is still makes me laugh sometimes. I can tolerate Yunjae being all lovey-dovey, even Yoosu, but reading Changmin saying those corny words is too much, really. She must’ve been too fond of Shakespeare or something.
I really didn't mean to post anything at all for awhile, but I can't see the end of this so the hell with it.
Anyway, I was browsing some forums and stuff about SuJu looking for something and then I found their profiles which I've never really seen before. The part that got me in a fit for about 3 minutes is as follows:
Kim Hee Chul Education: Sang Ji Young University (English Translator Major)
Still keep reading the accounts from the concerts. Got 21 already fancams too. Gives me such confliscting emotions. I don't think Jae ever cried so much before. And from what I've seen so far there so much more ChunJae than Yoosu. I really want the DVD though I'm afraid I'll end up crying too much.
Jejung/Yuchun - Colors
Yuchun was in white and Jejung was in a pink shirt with a yellow top inside. The Soulmate moments were everywhere during this performance. They started out the performance standing at opposing ends of the stage and started singing. When Jejung sang the line “Like a melody and harmony in love” he pointed over to where Yuchun was and Yuchun was all :’DDD and then of course the crowd screamed, lol.
Jejung got all teary-eyed when he sang this song, he even pressed his nose a couple of times to hold it in. ;__; At this point, Yuchun’s voice was already more husky than usual (though his voice was still strong) and Jejung’s voice was still perfect.
When they reached the “Lalala” part, they asked the crowd to sing along with them and we did. It was lovely. It really reminded me of their Tokyo Dome performance last year ;__; They kept asking us to sing it louder and louder and we did. It was just amazing ;__; omg crying ;__;
At the last line “Like a melody and harmony…” they paused for really long and Jejung reached over and switched mics with Yuchun before they harmonized “in love”.
They went a little off-tune for their harmony for the last 2 words and they tried twice before Junsu suddenly appeared! And he was all “What are you doing?!” So Jejung and Yuchun invited Junsu over to join them at the center of the stage and they did one last “in love” with Junsu harmonizing with them and this time, it was PERFECT.
It sounded like the whole Dome was resounding with the power of their harmony, that’s how solid their voices are when they became one. Gosh omg ;__; I loved that they did this little roleplay and got Junsu to join them in harmonizing T_T
Everyone now found themselves new boytoys. But not me. Not saying I'm better, I'm just... different, I suppose. I tend to cling. There's no use holding grudges and regrets. Life goes on.
I've been pondering for quite some time whether to make this post or not. It shoudn't be such a big deal, but I didn't want to post anything just yet. I'm not quite ready to come back fully and I hate doing things half-heartedly.
Anyway, what I'm here for is this. This is just a silly ritual and I've given up on congratulating all but the most important to me. This occasion is just the time when I feel compelled to do so.
So Happy Birthday, Park Yoochun! You really made me fall for you, didn't you? I'm not going to regret it. There's quite a number a things I learned from you. That it's okay to cry. That admitting your weakness makes you stronger and admitting your stupidity makes you wiser. At first I kinda hated it when you fooled around too much, it made me feel embarrassed. Now I know I just envy your freedom and your courage. I'm too insecure to let go, to not care what other people think. I'm too caught up in the masquerade. And from my mistakes I learn.
I'm very daring though. Because I dare to believe. But that's a whole different story. For now just be happy please.
L'Arc~En~Ciel - BLESS I finally came aroud to listening to it and I love it. Thay still manage to make it - trademark L'Arc sound+a new fresh streak= great song. I kinda glad THSK made it to No.1, but honestly I think Break Out sucks and instead Bless should have taken that rightful place.
Kalafina - Oblivious I liked Kalafina since Lacrimosa, Kuroshitsuji closing theme. But I was saving them for later. Now that later has come. Beautiful beautiful music and Oblivious is my favourite track. It's one of those songs that makes me feel I knew it long ago even though it's new.
Maria Mena - Just Hold Me This came from a YunJae fanvideo just recently. It's just one of thoses songs that strucks a broken note inside.

Super Junior - Sorry, Sorry - Answer (Studio Ver.)
An old Christmas episode. Love Leter was never my favourite show, but I really miss this. Not the show itself, but rather the characters. Lately I look at Korean scene and it’s full of new faces I’m not familiar with and don’t really want to be. Maybe that’s just bias. Heechul was quite impressive, especially his unique method of winning in arm wrestling.
Becoming Good Daddies
Only episodes 1-4 and 12 have subs, but that didn’t stop me. Some parts were a bit boring, but there’s something about the show that appealed to me. Maybe it’s because I was always wondering what it’s like to have a real father, and seeing a girl have 5 trying to do their best (most of the time) made me feel so jealous. I didn’t understand everyone’s fascination with Hong Ki before this show, but now I see he’s the epitome of cute in the truest sense of the word. He's naturally cute without trying. And he has the cutest expressions.
But of course he uses the “cute maknae” to his own means. I can understand everyone pampering him, but… This is not OK.
Heechul was acting like a bit of a bastard, but a charming one at that. It’s embarrassing that even after 12 episodes, over 1 hour each I don’t remember the names of the other 3. The first girl was very mature, but in an arrogant way so I didn’t really like her. But the second one was very lovable. All coquettish and lady-like. And her speech at the end was so touching. The last episode was so teary. I think all of them would be great fathers.
Intimate Note E55 Christmas special and the last episode of the season, meaning the hosts have been changed. Too bad, it won’t be the same without HeeJunee. I don’t have subs so I skipped half of it, but they were celebrating Christmas at HeeJun’s so we get to see his lovely Mom, his younger sister and baby cousin (and 6 dogs). I thought: “He should be getting his own by now”.
Just found an old Questionnaire with Junsu's Mom. The fans have no shame whatsoever. I don't even know what's worse - asking which one of her sons she loves more or asking when was the last time he wet his bed. But the most shocking part was the last:
What would you do if Junsu wanted to make a sex change to a woman? - I entrust the will of Junsu. Because I wanted a daughter, possibly I may tolerate it rather smoothly?
That's very open-minded for a very dedicated Christian. I really admire her.
Currently I put everything on hold, but I really want to write a few words on this one. It's been almost 3 years since I'm in this fandom and most of this time I was really hoping to see this. I almost lost hope, but apparently SM is full of surprises. Or in need of cash that is.
I wasn't sure I'm ready to watch it and didn't want to force it, but subtitles came the next day and I decided "what the hell?"
I didn't expect much. Everyone knows that even the stupidest of films with TVXQ in it will sell like candy. The plot is pretty lame, but I suppose most Korean dramas are like that. I don't get the Asian infatuation for teacher/male pupil relationships and all this gangster stuff is seriously getting old.
For the most part is seems like a stereotypical highschool AU - Jaejoong the fierce orphan/kicked puppy, Yunho the geek monitor, Yoochun the charming ladies' man. And some scenes seemed to have been filmed for future fanvideos - YunJae 'nosebleed'scene and Yoosu 'busted' scene are exactly like that. Some parts strongly remind of Vacation. Especially Jae's - I hate seeing him getting beaten over and over again - and MinSu which is really boring (at least Changmin was more of a bit bitchy rich brat than a cute weak dongsaeng).
-I don't get why they had to cut 30% of the scenes only to include them in the making film. 1) Some of them were really good. I know sometimes it's for the sake of plot and stuff, but this isn't an Academy Award nominee. Besides stuff like Yoomin washing windows had no effect on the major picture. 2) There's no actual Making Film. I was hoping to see some behind the scenes, like ChunJae Titanic or something.
-I'm not going to analize the plot. Except that I'd probably go insane if I had to choose between the two.
-I really like the score, I'm glad they added the soundtrack recently so most of it is from Mirotic.
-In my opinion, Yoochun is quite a decent actor. He should be getting acting deals. Jae did... ok. I expected it to be worse. Though no matter how bad his acting may be you can easily forgive him for those few scenes where he just smiles his pure apologetic smile and you melt into a puddle of goo. In a couple of scenes where they were fighting I just laughed out loud, just because it was so strange to see them like that and I knew they had 976509809 NG scenes.
-The actress is quite likeable too. Compared to most others anyway. I don't have anything against her. I also think they looked pretty good as a couple and it's not easy for me to say that.
- At first I was apalled at the farting scene. But then I thought as unglamorous as it is that's what true love must be like - seeing the love of your life fart and scratch his bum and still continue to look at him with just as much love.
-Also the bedroom was probably the most repulsive room I ever saw. All the ugly pink.
Overall, TVXQ or not, I really think it's a decent movie. No worse that your average Korean drama.
