If PINKY was the funniest interview lately, then GQ was then most interesting in like... ever. Seriously I can't help but wonder whether they have matured so much or they were just playing dumb. Probably both. Yunho's wasn't anything unexpected, Changmin was his usual straightforward self and Jae just reckless. But I was most impressed by Junsu's. It's hard to believe it comes from the same person who throws lame jokes and makes a fool out of himself more often than not.

I just became a beta. It kind of happened accidentally. I pointed out some of the mistakes to her and she took it very well, thanking me and fixing all the mistakes. She's a really nice author, but kind of unattentive, in a strange way. But I feel nice, making at least a small contribution to the fandom. The funny thing is - she's Scottish)
Also Sarah posted Part Two of 'Sixth Sense & Sensibility' today. With my illustrations included. I'm kind of proud of myself.

I don’t wanna feel Blue anymore...
Ah, we finally watched SBS Gayo 2008. It was even more fun than MKMF or Golden disc. I just love watching this stuff, it's so much fun. Even if most artists can't sing for shit. Bad singing, poor performances and ridiculous outfits just make it more amusing. Besides Gayo's not an award show, so there was less tension and a very friendly atmosphere. I like watching the audience's reaction when someone performs.
Too bad DBSK didn't make it. Rain, who booked a place next to Yoochun looked kinda lonely there.
2 AM and 2 PM's performances sucked. WTF? They can't sing, their dancing is not impressive and the're basically ugly. And the intro looked like something from Johnny's concert. lol. You can see why Shinee really deserves the awards. Their set was pretty decent. FT Island were good too, except there was something wrong with their singer. Still 9867395 times better than most...
Trot is still in fashion. It's horrendous, but kinda funny to watch. All artists stood up in respect, but looked like they were laughing their asses off)
If boyband rookie performances sucked, then girl bands looked like they belong in a brothel. I don't know why they all decided to sing live all of a sudden. Bad idea. All the censorship shit going on lately is pure hypocrisy. The performances were outrageous. I mean, Jewelry were dancing on the poles, for crying out loud!
The Award for female rookie should go to Wonderboys. ))
I don't share the recent Big Bang obsession, but I think they're all right, their set was good. And the little Antique Bakery parody was priceless.
No need to comment on DBSK. Trust them to show the amateurs how it's done. It's funny how all of a sudden they became one of the oldest groups in SM. All the juniors look at them with such adoration. And Changmin obviously enjoys being hyung.)
There were many others, but I'm too lazy to write any more. Overall, one of the best shows I watched so far. Not by performances, but by entertainment. Koreans are a great nation. They take their jobs seriously, but never themselves.

What kind of careful checking?
I believe in Japan determining sex can be a problem, but this is... Anyway, I'm really curious as to what they are up to.

Looking at shiny photos from glossy mags I've been thinking...
There's no denying - Photoshop is a great invention. I too am guilty of enhancing my personal photos, my own as well as other people's. It's natural for professional photoshoots and obviously some things are meant to be hidden. But in fact many are sick of these polished perfect images. Sometimes editing goes way too far. It irritates the hell out of me when I notice lack of scars, moles and tattoos. Some of my favourite pictures are taken at airports or in the street. /and yes, i know stalking is bad, but.../ I like seeing close-up unposed shots. Even if there are pimples, stubble. Somehow it makes them seem closer, more human.
