Now time for the Sims. I totally got rid of the Deluxe Edition that's been installed on my PC. It was way too loaded and quite unreasonably so. I mean, it's cool to have all packs in one but what I really want is the ability to choose which packs to install, at the least all EPs without SPs coz those I really don't need and AnyGame has proven they double the lading time.

Now I shall get back to installing the EPs one by one, tedious as it might be. I got Sims 3 as soon as it was out so now it seems unreal we're already on out 8th EP. Anyway, I think this time I will try using Career, Generations, Showtime and Seasons. Knowing myself I will probably miss "that cute jacket" but oh well. We'll work around that. I mostly will miss stuff like traits and skills though.

I will probably start anew yet again. My last game will most likely be really glitchy anyway. Why do they always crash at weddings? Really looking forward to Seasons because trying to recreate Christmas in Summer was a real bitch, you know. Ok, there we go.

Also, guess I shall upload that embarrassing Yoosu video I made last year. The world needs to see it.

So after watching the anime I ended up reading all of the manga that's been translated so far, both Ueda Hiroshi’s and Sakakibara Mizuki’s, raided pixiv and several blogs for art (yes, including all 362 pages of fuckyeahtigerandbunnyyaoi). The DVD will be out in February, I think and nothing heard about the Season 2 as of yet. Not much to do atm other than keep checking for updates. Oh, well. See you later, bbs.

So yesterday my temporary employment at UAJC came to an end. It was nice in a way and I think I made a pretty good use of my time even though there were certain difficulties. It felt good to be a part of something like this. I don't really feel like writing about all of it, despite having a lot of thoughts and feelings. Let this just be a reminder.

Lately I just feel so numb. The only things that get me excited during the day are T&B and occasional talks with Abe-sensei. I can't even do anything. I don't feel like doing anything. My room is a mess but I couldn't care less right now. The weather doesn't help either. My little experiment seems kind of fruitless so far. I don't even know. I try not to think and succeed from time to time, but it doesn't bring peace, just deafening silence. I kinda wish for snow to fall already, white and chilly seems a better perspective than grey and wet.

TIGER&BUNNY

This is going to be long...

I've heard about this anime last year and since then I have been pondering whether I should watch it but in the end it was only a matter of time. I did not expect much, really. But it managed to surpass my expectations and pretty much make me a fan. The beginning failed to impress me. The first few episodes weren't very engaging but towards the middle things began to change and soon I was pretty much addicted.

The outline and and the plot are pretty good. The Heroes theme is always popular but they gave it a whole new dimension by making it fully commercialized. Because clearly this is the way it would have been in real world.

The Plot development is quite well-balanced and unpredictable. Surely there are some plot loops here and there but overall I'd say it's all very consistent. The ending was good too. I liked the little speech Maverick did when they cornered him. Because when you actually hear it you realize he does have a point, well, the same way as any dictator did, I suppose. But that really makes you see things are never black and white.

Now for the boys.

Kotetsu. At first I didn't like him at all. He's a total klutz, he can be very dense and he always makes a mess. Yet towards the middle he grew on me and towards the end I adored him. I mean he's a really nice guy and he always wants to help plus he's a wonderful daddy. I can't really explain it well. Well, I suppose Bunny and Karina experienced the same thing as me)

Barnaby. As I have already written, though I wasn't too impressed by the Goldilocks, I'm weak against tsundere types. He's got all the classic background: parents killed, seeking for revenge type of thing. But unlike Aya his cold façade crumbles easily and he cries quite a lot in the series so you can't blame him for being bitchy and cold. I pretty much expected him to be bitching and pouting all the way, only warming up a little but by the middle of the show he became fully domesticated. Yet still keeping a bit of his tsun of course which I quite like.

I like all the humour in the series and I pretty much expected it to be more of a comedy show yet at the same time there was quite a bit of angst. Both main characters went through hell, more than once. And yet, I don't think any anime ever made me go 'aww~' so often. Both the 'OMG, this is too sweet' aww~ and the 'poor thing' aww~))

Slash anyone?

It was so fucking obvious they were meant to be shipped. Hard. I seriously was taken aback at the amount of blatant fangirl material. I would even go so far as to say they overdid it. Even just looking at them - the Black-haired tanned Tiger and pale Blonde Bunny they look damn good all tangled up on the bed together.
One of the biggest questions I had before watching the show was: Why the hell do they put Bunny on top so often? From what I've seen in fanart it's pretty much 50\50. Now I watched the whole thing and honestly I still don't get it. Kotetsu calls him Bunny, he's more than 10 years younger and inexperienced. Especially after witnessing how utterly ukeish Bunny got in some episodes. But there were also the bridal-style rescues so I guess the creators designed it to work both ways.
Thankfully, the amount of yaoi online is endless so there's more than enough of both.

I wouldn't get my hopes up for Season 2 but they obviously left some back doors and we know Ouroboros is still going strong so it's a possibility. You know what they did to Kuroshitsuji. Plus there are two movies, one of which already came out but I'm afraid it will be mostly a rehash of the first tow episodes.

Random Notes:

One thing that really pisses me off is how Bunny always talks the perfectly formal and polite way even when he's pissed. I understand he's more than 10 years younger and the same goes for experience. But it felt so wrong - even when his best friend was dying he had to use all of them masu without fail. Urgh.

Special reward for Proper English. Actually I watched the NY special and I found out there was a unit in US as well so that explains it. Well, there still were some notable slips though.

Also I cracked up every time they tried to read the episode's titles Kotetsu just giving up most of the time XD

Shou would totally love it. I mean all that fighting for justice and cool tech and all the male, you know... camaraderie... and tigers... and bunnies.

Pixiv is like a heaven for doujinshi and most of them are very well-drawn and some even have actual plots, but... I really wonder whether there's any where the uke (whoever that may be) is actually enjoying himself and not being blatantly raped by big bad seme while crying and asking to stop. Even 14-year old girl virgins don't do that, let alone fully grown-up men. So sick of this shit.

I actually just tried the Clever Bot just to know what the hell it is. Well, it's not very smart. Most of its lines made no sense so I got bored soon. But, you know, it's really freaky that so many people are actually using it. And I'm afraid sometimes the bots will really get smart and then many people will prefer talking to them than to real people. I can see that happening.

I love this. It’s like, Jaejoong came with the chick and Yoochun came with his boyfriend. They just look so ‘together’. I really missed Yoosu.
Also I pity any actress who stars with Jae, he makes them look so plain.

Tiger&Bunny

...That question shall always puzzle the shipper fans around the world. THIS HAD TO BE DONE, OK?))

Ah, yes. I'm watching Tiger&Bunny. It was sort of inevitable, really.

The plot is pretty average but who cares about the plot?) This pairing appeals to me. Even though I don't really like Kotetsu because he's a clumsy idiot. But they sort of remind me of Aya and Youji. I definitely have a thing for graceful cold mysterious bastards who are actually really nice deep down. Pretty deep. And of course they both have a lot of drama in the past, both lonely and... ok, I'm done here.

I knew they had to hate each other at the beginning but it seemed to stretch a tad too long. So I kept wondering how long is Barnaby going to give him the cold shoulder but then Episode 8 happens... I mean, really? Just a few episodes prior they could barely stand each other and now Tiger just goes and takes a blow for the Bunny and Bunny becomes all domesticated (and doesn't even bitch about being called Bunny).





That anime was designed to be shipped, I swear, so I feel no guilt. And of course as a good shipper fan I'm tracking all the good stuff in caps.

Alice Nine family!

Shou would be the caring mother. He’s a stay at home mom, and he’s always looking out for the rest of the family. He also makes sure the rest of the family always has the latest fashion, because he’s a bit of a fashionista. Just don’t make him mad, because he’s a bit of a scary mother.

Tora would be the carefree dad. He’s kind of quiet, but he gives really good advice. He always manages to keep his cool, and he’s a lot less strict than mama Shou. But he’s the kind of dad that always says “listen to your mother”.

Hiroto would be the athletic youngest son. He has a lot of energy and spends most of his time outdoors. He likes to play outside with his dog and take pictures. He’s a pretty good student, but he sometimes blows off his homework because he’d rather do something else.

Saga would be the lazy middle son. He skips class and spends most of his time eating or sleeping. He’s got a really good sense of humor that keeps the rest of the family entertained. He’s also socially awkward and doesn’t go out much. Shou thinks that he’ll be the kind of son who will stay at home until he’s 40.

Nao would be the smart oldest son. He always gets good grades and he helps his other siblings with homework. Nobody really seems to understand his sense of humor though, because it’s too advanced for them. He likes to hang out at Starbucks and he eats a lot. When he’s lonely he talks to plants.


She just hit my weak spot, you know. The mummy Shou and Daddy Tora... And the baby Hiroto who always seeks attention from his parents. I shouldn't go into that. Not so sure about Saga and Nao's genealogy though.
