Former H.O.T member and rocker Moon Hee Jun still has a huge following - five hundred fans gathered to celebrate his release from the army last month - and his “5th Concert - Return to 1996” tickets were sold out in 15 minutes.
Moon Hee Jun’s “5th Concert - Return to 1996” is scheduled for December 29 & 30th. My angry ramble, just skip it

I got real pissed even before I began posting. Only few lines in the press. And I barely managed to find them, and remove all the mocking remarks... I really don't get it.
He's one of the people that are scorned the most among Korean musicians. All pop lovers think he's oh so pretentious with all the "gothic, hard-core" stuff (and half of H.O.T.'s stuff was pretty damn heavy anyway, dammit!), while rock fans call him a rocker wannabe. "Who does this former boyband leader thinks he is?" Morons.
Sure, he's not really original. But presently few can claim to be. I don't know much about Korean rock scene, in fact, the only band I know is the Trax. And they were put together by S.M. as well. Korean music industry severely damaged my definitions of rock and pop and the difference between them. What does it matter anyway as long as people are good at what they do and try even harder?
I like his music. I think he's good. He has nice voice and his own style in music, his songs vary from pop and ballads to heavy rock with a touch of classical music. And he's also a great dancer and rapper (and that said, I'm not even a big fan of the genre).
Besides, he went solo at 23 and released 4 full albums, not to mention he wrote music (+lyrics and choreography) for H.O.T.'s albums even before the draft. That fact alone deserves some appreciation, for christsake!
I just watched this program on Arirang called "Which artist best went from being a pop idol to a veritable musician", and he wasn't even mentioned (other former H.O.T. members took 4 out of 5 places.) And he's undoubtedly more invetive than KangTa (placed 1st with his soppy gay video with Vaness)
I hate haters. If you don't like something, don't listen to it. Why waste your time thinking of obscenities for someone, who won't even hear them? There's plenty of choice to find what suits you. I hate people who haven't done a worthwhile thing in their lives, but are the first to critisize others. This is pathetic, really.
The bitches must have been celebrating these two years. They all went like: "The army may do him some good, it'll mold this chubby little mama's boy into a man". What the hell do they know? Sure it's not a big thing, everyone does it. But army must have been hard for someone as eccentric and nonconformist as him.
When he saw the crowd that was waiting for him at the gates, he got teary-eyed. I don't think he expected such support and loyalty. I'm glad he has such fans and hope he goes on with his career successfully. And don't give a fuck about what morons say.
Welcome back, HeeJun!

Moreover, I think, that for HeeJun those people, waiting for him at the gates are more important, than all those "critics"

And the fifth one, whose name I still cannot memorize, was also there???
Yeah, I'm sure they are. I just get furious sometimes, hearing all these nasty things.

Yup, all 4 of them, except HeeJun. How fair is that?
Oh, and Schu -
Yeah, I'm sure they are. I just get furious sometimes, hearing all these nasty things.
At least, they don't try to DO something...
