Scrubs is the best thing since sliced bread (apart from Korean Variety shows). It's also one of the best things that happened to me lately.
I wrote earlier that I don't care about House MD since I'm not into medicine, but this is a whole different matter. Each episode is 20 minutes of pure excitement and it rocks my day. I fell in love right from the very first seconds. I've never watched a show that long and I'm realy impressed that Bill Lawrence managed to make 8 seasons all of which are equally exciting. It usually gets kind of boring and wft after 2nd season.
I totally love Zach Braff and just about every member of the cast. Each character is so lovable. Crazy, but lovable.
There's even an OTP. Well, sort of. Turk and JD are just meant to be together. I squealed when in one of the specials Bill Lawrence said:"The biggest romance on the show, I think, is JD and Turk." And they are, in a way. Their relationship is one of the best things about the show. I think JD's constant problems with all his girlfriends is because he doesn't need one. What he really need is a good man to take care of him. I love Carla and all, but this is the truth. It's even better because Zach and Donald are very close in RL. Zonald FTW!
Come to think of it, it all started with 'Guy Love' about two years ago. I had no idea about the series, but the song is so much love I know it by heart by now.
But the best thing about it is that it's so much more than just a comedy show. There's a lot of drama involved and it's just so human and hits close to home. Everyone is fucked up and confused. Every day is a challenge, both in professional life and in private. Nothing makes sense. But that's the way life is.
I can't express in words all the great things about this show and why I'm so in love with it. I only watched 6 seasons so far, since I watched it in Russian and there's no further translation from MTV yet (who, btw, did an amazing job at both translation and dubbing) so I'll have to wait. That's something I really look forward to.
