Dark Angel. I'm finally done with Season II. I tried to prolong the pleasure, but it could only last for so long.

It has to be it's my favourite TV series ever. Stashing it has been on my To-Do list for years. For a couple of months in grade 10 it has been my solace, something to look forward to in the day. While all of my classmates were watching 'Brigada', I retrieved into my post-apocaliptic Sci-fi haven.
I love the action. I'm not really into that kind of thing. But I can well appreciate a fight with grace and style. Girls kick ass. Yeah.
I love the drama. It's got a bit of the cheap tarnished kind as well as all the trauma from living on the edge, fighting for your life and freedom. And the hate for transgenics sums up all the ugliness of human intolerance of all kinds.
I love the cocky humour. The dialogues are brilliant, I've learned some of them by heart by now.
I love the cast. Most of them were young little known actors, but they did such a good job, filled the scene so well.
I still think Jessica's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I knew she'd make it big back then. Though this isn't exactly what I had in mind.
And Jensen... I was a bit stunned to find he'd gained so much popularity... in the slash community. Which I am so not fond of. The Supernatural fandom, not the slash community. For me, he'll always remain Alec, always 22.
But what I loved most of all about the characters, was the fact that even though they were fucked up beyond belief, through loss and struggle they all came around and created their own freaky little family. They had something to live and to die for.
I still mourn over Season III that never happened.
