So Miyavi updated his diary today, and mentioned the superband:
"This time, we put together a band. Like I said previously on the website, it's with some cool oniichan-tachi. Gaku-nii, Sugi-san and Yoshiki-san are all senpai I respect above everyone. They're seriously cool people, everyone. As artists and as people." Gaku-nii? Sugi-san?
This guy who plays in a band with Sugizo said in his diary last month that Gackt went to one of their concerts, and went backstage and everything. This article was on on the Oricon site today (well, these are the important bits):
Yoshiki, formerly of X Japan, has just produced an event with a collection of Japanese rock bands, "Jrock Revolution" in America on 5/28-29, and this unprecedented event was a huge success.... On the first night, Yoshiki made an announcement about his own new band... The new band he formed together with Gackt, Sugizo & Miyavi will not only be performing at an American anime convention, but it was also announced that they'll perform at 'Japan Expo', a manga-based convention in Paris, France, in July.
Gackt posted in the furin kazan staff blog again today. Mainly about how he's trying to live like Nagao Kagetora (Uesugi Kenshin) by living a 'stoic' lifestyle and imposing rules upon himself like not eating rice, getting 2-3 hours sleep a night, getting up at 3 or 4am for training (with his staff - I bet they love that ^^, and other crazy stuff like that.
There's finally a SKIN announcement at Dears (although they're calling it S.K.I.N.), which says something like this:
S.K.I.N. is finally starting! The superband S.K.I.N, put together by Gackt, Yoshiki (formerly of X Japan) & Sugizo (formerly of Luna Sea) has a new member and guitarist, Miyavi! The superband will do a Live on 6/29 at Anime Expo 2007 in LA.
