Finally went to see the Avengers. It's only been out for 3 weeks. But it was worth it.
I saw no spoilers and hod no idea what to expect but I loved the movie. I am very critical, I thought Ultron and Civil War arcs were a mess but this was different. The pacing was good, it was the right amount of action and drama. The plot was solid and the character development surpassed my expectations. Not to forget about a lot of very specific humour. It really felt like this wasn’t just for the rating but for the fans. I can't believe this is the end, it's been 12 years.
Surely, there were some things that left conflicting feelings, such as Cap's storyline, but overall, considering the sheer scale of the project, it was a very good wrap up. Very satisfying. Would see again.
I'll probably add more once the DVD is out but I just wanted to get this out there. I need to brace myself for Dark Phoenix.
