From the very beginning I refused to watch it. But I guess it was fate. No, actually it was my mum. She was nagging me about it for a year and finally she just took the matter into her own hands so here I am.
From the very beginning I somehow just felt I didn't want to watch it. Partly because I hate seeing Yoochun fooling around... But even though it turned the comedy part was very brief I'm still unsure whether it was a good idea. No, I mean it is a decent drama, much better than Miss Ripley. But... I guess it's Park fucking Yoochun. You and your tight pants, plushie lips, wrinkly hands and your perfect fucking smile. In the last 2 years I pushed my feelings for him to the very back of my mind but while watching this drama they were back with a vengeance. Not good for my frail sanity, not good at all.
Ok, now it's time to calm down and write it all clearly.
As I said, emotions aside, it's pretty good. One thing I really liked about it is it's pace and plot development. With most Korean dramas I get bored by episode 10, even when there's just 16. Usually somewhere around episodes 11 to 14 come lots of sap and water but this time the pace was very steady and there wasn't a point where I got bored or annoyed. There were also some pretty good plot twists.
Yoochun's acting is great. I think he's amazing at conveying emotions with his face and you can see he really gets into it. And I quite like the girl. Not completely but much better than Yoochun's last two dorama partners. They had good chemistry too. Because I'm not hating on actresses just because. I think at this point I could really be happy for him if he married a girl I could like. Anyway, they looked good together. The amount of kissing scenes is outrageous. Then again so it the number of times Yoochun cries.
The fucking soundtrack sits in my head firmly now. Like, all of it. Junsu's song was incredibly boring though. And blatant NII advertising was kind of gross. This review is pretty damn random but out with it.
