Watched "Golden Fishery" with Kang Ta. It was really fun and quite educational. I haven't really seen him since he came back from the army and he has a lot to say. They called him The Father of Idols and I do agree, but in a way it sounds kinda funny. I mean he's only 30, but the gap between him and the rookie bands seems huge.
He talked about a lot of things: how SM started with only 6 guys including LSM in a small residential house, how their managers subjected them to a hard trining when they would be woken up in the middle of the night to dance and "give interviews", how they released the DNA-incorporated CD, how the members sneaked out to meet with their girlfriends, how the whole disbandment affair was a huge misunderstanding, how the fame made him arrogant, how he became an elite soldier and how they are planning a reunion.
I really wanted to hear what he had to say since in a way he represents the SM side and I respect him a lot. He sounded very sincere. It would be easier for me to just call SM greedy bastards, but I know it's not all black and white. I already heard how when Tony became a CEO he made up with Lee Soo Man and sort of understood that he was wrong in a lot of ways and even asked for advice. But the part where Kang Ta met Tony a few years after their disbandment and it took 2 sentences to make up was kind of sad. It would be really stupid if TVXQ's case was similar. All in all it's still just as confusing.
Anyway, now they are waiting for Jaewon to come back from army which is next year and then hopefully we'll see H.O.T. together again.
