В моем садике (или это был 1й класс?) были близняшки - Марина и Оксана. Кажется, я дружила с Мариной. А вообще я их не различала и приходилось использовать смекалку, чтобы они не обиделись.

Japanorama Part 2: Ai and Koi

This episode was the most interesting to me so it comes in a post of its own. Japan is so gender-confused it’s outrageous. It’s a country whose culture was never tabooed by Christianity or Islam, people aren’t embarrassed of intimate talks and it has all the love hotels so you’d think it should have no problems in that department and yet there are host clubs and Takarazuka and air sex and it’s so complicated and fucked up you can’t help but wonder how the Japanese survived at all.

With all the hentai and games and those android life-size dolls women feel seriously left out. That’s why they turn to boy-bands and host clubs and Takarazuka and Yaoi.

Host clubs I knew there are many host clubs with female hostesses and quite a few with make hosts, but I haven’t heard about clubs where women are serviced by other women dressed as men.
Takarazuka When I watched Ouran Host Club, the episodes about Loberia Academy I didn’t know this kind of culture actually exists and very popular.
I’m not even going to start about Yaoi…

All of this seems like a reflection of the ancient problem: men want sex and women want romance. Sometimes it seems to me they belong to totally different species.
I’m trying not to judge. I feel I am a part of this. I’m all for diversity, but there is a thin line between variety and deviation.

Japanorama Part 1

Japanorama is a BBC series that screened in early 00’s. I first saw a bit of Japanorama about Dir en Grey several years ago and I thought it’s interesting to watch Japanese culture from a European point of view.
If I ever had a doubt that the Japanese are the craziest people in the world I don’t now. Sometimes they freak the hell out of me. I find myself wondering what the fuck have I gotten myself into, what the hell am I doing studying this language and culture.
I only watched about 15 episodes. There weren’t that much to begin with and I skipped a few, but even the ones I left contained some disturbing stuff. I really think the documentary is way too explicit in showing sex and especially violence. Actually there wasn’t an episode that didn’t seem disturbing to me. Even such seemingly innocent episode as Kawaii had some creepy stuff in it.

Just some passing notes:
- I thought Kamen Rider was ridiculous, but I haven’t seen Ultraman. Seriously who watches this shit? I can understand the 60’s, but now?
- Tokyo is a self-destructive monster.
- It was lovely to see Takahisa Zeze among Japan’s leading pornographic directors)

In the end I suppose I did get to understand Japan a bit better even though it still freaks me out. Too late I guess. "sigh"

Похоже, мама прониклась какой-то особой нежной любовью к Дже. Сегодня смотрела фанкам концерта, а она спрашивает: "А где девочка?" Я не сразу поняла, что это она его теперь так называет. А ведь он за эти годы возмужал. Я показательно возмущаюсь, хотя на самом деле как-то даже приятно. Когда-то давно и мы его так называли, особенно первое время, когда имя не помнили.

TVXQ group member Xiah Junsu was hospitalized in Los Angeles at around 10 PM on the 3rd.

Xiah Junsu had been suffering from a very high fever and fatigue since the afternoon. Staff members and company associates rushed him to the ER as his symptoms began to worsen. An associate of Xiah Junsu stated, “Xiah Junsu was hospitalized to a hospital in Koreatown in Los Angeles at around 10PM on the 3rd local time, or 2PM on the 4th of Korean time. Because it was the weekend, we tried over 20 hospitals before finally finding a hospital where he could receive proper treatment.”

Xiah Junsu has been busy with recording schedules, and as a result he continued getting a high fever and fatigue. At first, they didn’t think much of the situation because his symptoms were that of a common cold, but as the night went on, his symptoms worsened and he was then taken to the ER. When he reached the hospital, his fever reached over 40C. After receiving emergency care and some shots he has stabilized. This associate says, ” Xiah Junsu, plus the other 2 members are in America to record their album, and they have been pouring out their passion into the recordings. Thinking of meeting their fans after such a long time with their music, they became overenthusiastic and sang repeatedly without rest, and now their body has shown these signs of fatigue.”

The three members, including Xiah Junsu were hit hard with the shocking news of Park Yong Ha’s death. This associate said, “Hero Jaejoong was very close friends with Park Yong Ha, so the news gave him great mental shock and he was unable to even speak for awhile. All three members have been becoming more and more fatigued and even when staff members around them advised them to rest, they were concentrated in recording and in result their health has deteriorated to the point of finding the ER.”

The management side says that for Xiah Junsu’s treatment, they will take a 2 days rest.


Shit. They don't deserve this. Don't deserve this at all. They're supposed to be happy. Stupid boys. They're trying too hard. My only comfort is knowing they have each other.

Before their upcoming concert next month on 6th – 7th, the 6 members male group KAT-TUN visited Korea to greet their Korean fans. During the press conference which was held on the day they arrived, KAT-TUN expressed their thought about having activities in Korea, “We enjoy to have shows in South Korea.” and “We’re nervous.” The members also revealed that they have worked even harder than usual to prepare for the live performance, showing much enthusiasm for their first live concert in Korea.

When the members were asked about South Korea singers they like, the group agreed to mention TVXQ and Rain (Jung Ji-hoon) as their favorites while for female group, Kamenashi Kazuya mentioned 4minute as one group he’s noticed.

My dreams are becoming more and more vivid. And more... real somehow. I feel it's just another reality and it doesn't seem like a waste sleeping till noon. It's more exciting than a game. Thankfully I haven't had those horrid nightmares for a few months now. They aren't necessarly pleasant, but... interesting. I can remember quite a lot upon waking up and sometimes I can control them a little. I remember this one recent dream that was a lot like action game, but way too difficult and I remember thinking: "This is too hard, I'll never make it. I should give up. Just a bit more." And then the chase was on and just when I was about to be hit by this truck I pressed the button and made my exit. Sometimes I get so caught up I don't want to get up at all. Especially when I get to fly. It's addictive. When I stand on the balcony at night I get a little scared remembering the dream where I took a step down and instead of falling got suspended in air. It's a temptation. I'm afraid one day I just won't wake up.

GeunSuk is looking really good lately. I'm always a sucker for long hair. I don't like to think of him as cute, but ther's no other word for some photos.



Come to think of it I didn't like any Asian actors yet. And he's really talented. I'm not the best critic, but I've seen him switch from 16 to 30 and I couldn't believe my eyes. Also I can't believe the man is younger than Junsu. He's that much mature and manly. *sigh* I still remember the time when I was 12 in love with 17-yearolds and wishing to grow up.

Also found this today:
In middle school, Geun-seok heard the music of Japanese pop singer singer Ken Hirai & Japanese rock band L'Arc-en-Ciel. He was inspired enough by these bands to start learning the Japanese language by himself. In junior high school, Geun-seok went to school in New Zealand to learn English & Japanese. Because of his studies in New Zealand, he can carry casual conversations in both languages. He also learned sign language for the prior three months in preparation for his role as a deaf boy in "One Missed Call Final".

Simology

I thought I would get bored by now, but every day there are tons of new objects and even if it's just a new outfit, makeup or haircut I want to try it on. Recently 'Ambitions' EP came out and it's really nice. I know I got too accached to my sims, I can't help it. It's a bit like acting out fanfiction.


Summer underwear collection showcase)) Actually I created this 'Ikemen Paradise' because I was trying out different male skins. There are a few more, but I ran out of models and I was afraid the game will crash. All of the skins are nice and it's easier to personalize characters. There are still many issues though, the face shadowing often looks weird and still there are more intimate part to consider.
