I don’t wanna feel Blue anymore...
I always seelk out special someone in the fandom, someone I can realte to and we end up sharing e-mails and ideas. When I was into J-Rock that someone was Chachabear. I hate it how people just disappear without a note and then pop up years later. It makes me woried sick. This woman disappered about three years ago and now she's back, engaged and hopeful. We weren't that close to begin with and I wasn't sure if we have enough in common to continue keeping in touch. But today she commented on my latest DBSK video, telling me it made her cry. Turns out she was into K-Pop and DBSK all this time. She was the only one to comment so far and it made me see who really cares.
I don’t wanna feel Blue anymore...
I've had this album by Towa Tei since I was about 13 and could never make out the language in some tracks. It's only now that I recognize Japanese and Korean.

I don’t wanna feel Blue anymore...
I watch a lot of those. Lately most of them deal with lifestyle, especially gender identity and such. These are only the most interesting ones.
Second Skin
It’s a documentary about gamers. Many say those people are worse than drug-addicts, but to some extent I can identify with them. In the sense of having an alternate life. In the end it’s just another way to live one’s life.
North Korea. A Day In The Life
It’s quite impressive to see a country in which in 21st century lives the way we lived in 1950’s. It’s kinda scary, really.
Sex, Lies and Gender
This was probably the most curious one. It basically shows that the category of gender really needs to be redefined and how there a lot of people who on many different levels don’t fit in either male or female category. Overall very impressive. I also watched it with my family as a part of my ‘reformation program’.
Fag Hags
Pretty interesting film about the unusual unions of gay men and straight women. I can’t say I’m one of them, but I can easily identify with them.
Bi The Way
Basically it’s a cross-American study of bi-sexuality. Two women took a trip across the States to find out more about the “bi-curious” generation.
I was quite impressed, really. So many characters who look and talk like rednecks and you instantly assume they should be homophobic and yet they talk really good stuff. Maybe things are better than I thought. I really wonder what happens once this generation grows up, it’s a whole new look on things.
In the Womb
I’m long since interested in biology and genetics and I already watched every documentary about human body and mind I got my hands on. This documentary explores the mystery of twins to answer some major questions about human condition. It’s not the similarities of twins that interest scientists the most, it’s the differences. Why humans with exactly the same genetic code grow up different? Nature or Nurture?
Some parts are a bit hard to understand, but overall it’s very interesting and the footage showing tiny humans inside the womb will never cease to fascinate me.
Another interesting part for me was the mention of XXY. Native Indians might be right when they see ‘Two Spirit people’ as having two souls, since according to this film XXY actually develop not from 2 cells but from three.
Thinking XXX
I can say this is a documentary about one making of a photobook of a famous photographer. But it’s better to say it’s a documentary about porn industry. Now porn stars are pretty much recognized as celebrities. The photobook has photos of some of the most famous porn stars (I actually know a few) - one clothed and one nude for each. I’ve always been wondering about a lot of things about porn industry. Like who are the people that are known as porn stars, why did they make this career choice and a lot more.
This film shows the shooting process, the interviews with the stars and some extra footage about their lives. Porn stars talk about themselves, each other and the industry.

Of course there were way too many to count in the last few months. I watched tons of films, old and new, most of them chick-flicks. So I’ll point out just a few. Somehow they all happen to be gay-themed. Actually I dislike to think of it that way. It’s the same how I don’t really like Gay Pride stuff. To me it’s like Black Pride or something. And I dislike the fact that all these films only take part in LGBT festivals. All of them are kinda fairy-tale-like, but that’s just the stuff I want. There are way too many LGBT dramas, so much that I begin to think it’s a plot of homophobes to discourage those who watch it. Anyway, I totally love all 4 of them.
An added plus is that all films except the first I watched in English.
I Love You Phillip Morris
I heard about this movie about a year ago and I’ve been checking on it ever since. I totally love it. Jim Carrey did perfect for this role. Also I gained a lot of respect for McGregor. Quote: "It wasn't awkward. You're not playing a gay or a straight character. You're playing someone who's in love. ... As an actor you're always looking for interesting stories. I've played gay characters so I've kissed men before. It's about getting on with it. And it all felt strangely usual."
I also read quite a bit about the real Steven Jay Russell and I totally adore him. His story is even cooler than portrayed in the movie. I’d love to quote half the interview so here’s just a link instead.

All in all I think it’s one of the most romantic love stories, gay or straight. Love this movie.

If you for some reason are going to read it note that this post contains lots of spoilers.
Heading to the ground
I have mixed feelings about it. For about half a year I really didn’t feel like watching it, but a time came… The first half was hard to watch, Yunho was so embarrassing with his ridiculous over-acting and goody but dumb character. Yet, towards the middle I didn’t even notice how he kept doing better and better in each episode. In the end his acting was quite decent. Once again he managed to impress me. But apart from that I really think it’s a decent drama no matter what people say. I like the characters and the plot is not too bad except some parts.
Atashinchi no Danshi
A sappy fairy-tale like family drama. The brief appearance of Hard Gay was really something and why is it that in many Japanese dramas when boys fall in love they decide it’s a good idea to practice on their friends? Ridiculously unrealistic like most Japanese dramas, but pretty hilarious and touching.

WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe It made me happy finally being able to convert almost any file to any format. Especially VOBs and other huge video files. It was a true blessing.
Windows Media Player screencaps After all these years I finally learned how to make caps with Media Player Classic. I’ve made quite a few by now.
ZC DVD Ripper Platinum God bless me, I finally learned to rip DVDs.)) It’s not that I need it often, but at least I ripped some videos from my official DVDs. I even made really good rips from All About3 MV’s and shared them.
Sony Vegas Now this baby here is really cool. It’s so much better than stupid Pinnacle Studio. Really handy and all. Finally I can make all the videos I wanted. I’m still full of ideas and hopefully I’ll finish some soon enough.

It all started on a Sunday afternoon. I had nothing to do so I watched telly. It was TV5 Monde, some French Sunday talk-show. I watched lazily trying to pick up at least half of the conversation. And then all of a sudden there was a performance. That’s when I learned the true meaning of cognitive dissonance.
If you’re reading this you’d better watch THIS first:
Christophe’s something amazing. He came out as a winner of France’s Nouvelle Star, which is a singing show and became a star right away. It’s not just the voice, he released two albums so far and both are really good. I love both his dance tracks and ballads. Definitely best artist of the year so far.

Maria Mena – Her music is a bit too simple and there’s too much teenage angst for my liking. But considering she’s so young she may still have a long way. Even if not I’ll love her for Just Hold Me alone.
Tetra-fang – actually that’s just a band created solely for the purpose of making a soundtrack for Kamen Rider Kiva. But Seto Koji proved to be unexpectedly good. He’s one of those rare singers who sing live better. I only listen to a couple of songs.
Urban Trad – rediscovered. I finally found the last two albums I was missing and they are as good as the first two. This time there’s more variety and motives from all over Europe. Great as background music. I really like this band.
Sugizo - awhile back I downloaded his whole discography but never listened to it much. I think he’s a really good musician. He’s really into this spiritual stuff, but lately it suits me fine.
The most impressive artist I discovered though needs another post.

She’s wonderful. 43-years old, happily married. She got into the fandom just months before, but she got the feel very fast.
Tune Without Words (+Spark) – that definitely deserves more than a sentence. I am overwhelmed. I really really love the story. I've been in this fandom over 3 years and I read a lot, but this is one of the best stories I ever read, probably my favourite chaptered non-AU) I like everything about it - the plot and the characterization and relationships, it all adds up wonderfully, nothing is lacking and nothing blown out of proportion as it often happens. Just the right amout of angst and romance. Even Changmin with three kids doesn't feel weird. Not to mention how it is full of hope.)) I feel pathetic for wanting it all to happen.
Lately I come across a lot of crap fics and begin wondering why I even bother, but when I see works of talented people like her I remember what's so good about this fandom. There are also other stories both long like Thaw and short and I like them all.

Basically my reading list. This is probably not even a half of what I've read, but let's just say these are the ones I saved.
club_hypnotic Champagne in a Plastic Cup (or, a Brief Stint in New York Caused By a Canceled Flight) – charming OT5-ish little fic.
baby_skies anything, everything – a very curious shapeshifting!verse.
baby_skies cité de l'amour – won the Paris contest, I think. Not great, but nice.
xiahzart what it means in the city – just a small lovely Yoosu fic.
cimmerian_shade Broken Porcelain – very unconventional dramatic fic
applesu baby boom - immodicus is as good as she gets.
unlearned - ain't never caught a rabbit – a very cute ChunJae fic where Jaejoong turns into a basset hound puppy, or so Yoochun thinks. I so miss her writing.
Sekushiai – Matchmaker - 25 chapters of hilarious good read. Must be my fave bff!ChuJae ever.
Isamijae - Handsome and Gentle – The infamous award-winning fic. I honestly expected more from her. Apart from illustrations by shigai I didn’t find anything remarkable about it.
Yunho_Bear – Imprints Yoosu drabble
chevyportia - The First Place – simple and really nice little Yoosu story.
Willowwing deserves a post of her own.

I already posted parts of my scrapbook, but the main part is ahead. It’d be way too much to make separate posts for every band/movie/drama etc so I’ll make several big posts for each category. Beware. They’re a bit rough, but I’m sure no one will even read half of it so… I just need to get this out of the way.

I don’t wanna feel Blue anymore...
Watched the Digest last night. Never mind I have about 25 fancams, half of them unwatched. There's only a couple of songs, all of them cut except W. The new songs are not bad, kinda raw but you can feel the sincerity behind them, it's diferent from singing someone else's songs.
So they did put Jae in the middle after all and he talked the most. It felt as he was a leader of sorts, speaking on their behalf. And damn did they get good at Japanese, I only understand Junsu well, Yoochun keeps mumbling and Jae is pretty much incomprehansible. His dazzling beauty doesn't help either, I just forget to listen)
Even though it's just 35 long minutes you get the overall feeling, no matter how many upbeat songs there are, the overwhelming sadness is still there.

Lately I've been educating my family in terms of tolerance a lot. It's kinda subtle and natural and I like the way it goes. I should be careful though. Too many gay-themed movies. My mum may start to suspect something if she doesn't already.

I don’t wanna feel Blue anymore...
I finished the video for Junsu's BD in December, but never posted it here. I doubt someone would be watching this since I have about 5 people reading me and about 2 Yoosu fans, but I posted all the others so let it be. This is my first and last work in Pinnacle Studio.
