In late March 2009, newspapers reported that Miyavi got married to former pop singer Melody., early in the year. The papers have also reported that the couple are expecting their first child sometime within the year. Miyavi made a statement on his official website and MySpace blog, regretting that he wasn't the one that announced the news. On April 5, 2009 during his "graduation", Miyavi is expected to make an announcement about the matter.

I don’t wanna feel Blue anymore...

I should write about something normal for once. So this is it. I rarely really want anything material at all, but I really needed a new phone for a long time. My old one was kind of prehistoric and I was even a bit embarrased to show it in public. I didn't want anything fancy, just setting my own background picture and a ringtone's more than enough. I looked at what is currently available and it didn't take much thinking. It was love at first sight, really. It has all the latest stuff it it too. A camera, a player, bluetooth and other stuff. Not that I need it, but it's nice to be modern. I don't like the fact that it's totally designed for the chicks, but what the hell? It's pretty and what do I care.

Korea’s band TVXQ, has made another record in the Guinness Book Of World Records. According to the incomplete counts, Korea’s famous male band - TVXQ, from debut to today has partaken in numerous photo shoots of magazines, albums, singles, CFs, endorsement etc kind of photos has surmounted 500 000 000 (including group, solo shots and with others) TVXQ has became the artist with the biggest number of photos of all celebrities globally.
This record has been officially recorded in the Guinness Book Of World Records. This is Korea’s artist, TVXQ. They have the most number of fans, which is also included in the records.

Под катом 500 групп, вычернуть/выделить любыми доступными средствами нужно те, у которых вы слышали хотя бы одну песню.

Приблизительно 168. Маловато, да. Но прошу также заметить, что я многократно колебалась, стоит ли отмечать ту или иную группу. Так что решила отмечать не просто те группы, название которых мне знакомо, а лишь те, у которых я хотя бы смутно помню пару песен. Название еще нескольких десятков мне знакомо, но хоть убей ни одной песни вспомнить не смогу. Спонтанно возник вопрос: Кто вообще составлял этот список и по какому принципу? Некоторые группы и исполнители ИМХО сосвем не стоят того, чтобы знать про их существование.
Хочу также отметить, что идентификации нижеперечисленных групп крайне мешало отсутствие артиклей и обратный порядок написания.

I'm getting back to my list. Tonight I finally watched Thelma & Louise. It's not only feministic, it's the most fucking romantic movie I've seen.
Now the only thing I have to go back to is actually reading books.

Finally got around to reading some of the interviews I have saved about 1,5 years ago. I missed this.
This is what I've always been wondering about J-Rock and Japanese music in general. This dissonance and chaotic feeling...
"Talking about traditional Japanese, I have used Japanese-style melodies, and traditional musical instruments in my approach, but it was like from a foreigner’s perspective. But that’s not what I want. I think that the difference between traditional Japanese and Western musical styles is the difference between the rhythm and the breath. For Western music, the pace has a fixed rhythm, but for traditional Japanese music, it’s the expression of your own breath. There is no definite rhythm. That’s why the rhythm created from that is confusing…it’s chaos. To insert traditional Japanese style into my song is like blowing in chaos. Something like a quiet stillness in the midst of confusion."
