Just reinstalled Windows. It seemed to have gone ok even though every time I keep forgetting things like how and what to install first, like the drivers and stuff. This time I finally created a tiny text file with instructions for myself, it only has 4 steps thought. Hope I won't forget about it next time lol) But with every failure I get more XP so it's all good.

JJ's Glamorous Sky

So it happened. Jaejoong sang Glamorous Sky during his solo set. Pretty exciting... or should be. The truth is I don't really like it. His voice is great but the way he pronounces the words and just generally... I don't like it. So yeah, my disappointment in rocker!Jae is now complete. Oh well.

But since I'm on it I should add a few more interesting details I picked in tumblr.

First of all: HYDE WENT TO JYJ’S TOKYO DOME CONCERT LAST DAY (4TH APRIL)

GTO (2012)

Recently I watched the drama and 2 specials attached. I've heard about GTO many times so I decided it was high time to check it out. 1998 drama seemed too old, besides the lead guy looks too cool and he's not even kinpatsu!

Overall I quite enjoyed the drama. It's funny but also very sentimental and touching. Maybe often too sentimental and dramatic but I found myself teary-eyed every other episode. I don't believe people can be "fixed" so easily but then again it's not like I can confirm my theory. But at any rate I think it's a very good drama to watch for the young. It's very inspiring and it makes you want to believe in good things. Yet I find it amusing that no matter how you look at it the message in many Japanese school dramas is: You can't change anything with just words, you'll need raw muscle power too.

Now a few words about the cast:

Although Ryohei Kurosawa looks way too old for Eikichi (he was 31 but to me he looks 40ish) I think he did a good job. I think Kawaguchi Haruna looked very convincing as the resident bitch, much more convincing than the innocent Haruhi. And of course lately no comic cast is complete without Yamamoto Yusuke. Tje rest of the cast was good too.

There's another special coming soon so I'll be on the lookout. Also I'm planning to check out the manga.

Almost forgot... Today's dream. There were many things I remembered but one episode stood out and is something I'd like to note down.

So there was this one scene where Reno basically crawled over Shin and kissed him. They were sort of supposed to do it, don't know why (because I wanted to!) but they didn't seem to mind at all. It was sort of tentative but very natural nonetheless. It lasted some 5-10 seconds, then Reno stopped and they looked at each other sort of having a silent dialogue. I had the impression that they enjoyed it and it won't end there. There wasn't any continuation but this was very good.

I'm quite surprised though because I can't remember dreaming about ToraxShou once. But I suppose the trigger was this...

Lately I've been feeling a little bit left out because I really don't like the direction in which A9 is going but... Recently Saga encouraged us to cheat on them so it's all good)

I doubt you remember, but quite a few months ago I was in a really bad spot, I posted something about it and you messaged me. Thank you for doing so. Seeing that somebody cared enough to tell me I’d be okay made everythng so much better. I never had the chance to thank you before now, but anyways… yeah… sorry for bothering you… kay bye.

Stuff like this makes me feel I'm really doing the right thing, reminds me that I relly matter. It’s kind of amazing though - getting hatemail and right after receiving a really nice letter of gratitude. It’s like universe confirmed its equilibrium.

Been struggling to make a good plot-based ToraxShou video and I even made a full draft but alas... I'm so done with it. There are too few PVs to work with, especially with Tora footage. I mean it'll be pretty either way but there's no space for creativity at all. I can't be satisfied with this level. Oh well, the perfect Yunjae video took me some 3 years to make and Gakuhai took about 6 so...

Projective Personality Test

Finally watched the latest episode of the Super Alice9 Channel. Somehow I expected it to be funnier. Actually the thing I laughed at the most apart from the obvious parts was the fact that Hiroto managed to make a really weird mistake in the word “kirei”. Twice. )) Oh well.

Isn't Tora sweet though? ♥ He looked so serious while drawing, I found that endearing. Also how he got so embarrassed towards the end. He tried not to let it show but it was sweet.

But there's something more to it that I wanted to explore further. I always like looking at people's drawings, often they say more than words. Actually there are really a lot of personality tests based on drawings - Projective Personality Tests. Draw a Person tests were the second most popular psychological tests in the sixties. It is now the eighth most popular test and usually applied to children. I'm pretty sure all those tests at the show were fake BUT there's something to be learned from the drawings they made, especially the first one.

I decided to take it upon myself and analyze Tora's drawing. I used the DRAW-A PERSON-TEST (Machover, 1949) for assessment. There are many similar tests and I won't go into too much detail, I'll just use the most basic principles.



Let's start.

1. An image's position

- A lot of blank space indicates that the person needs a lot of personal space.

- High position indicates positive self-image, optimism and confidence.

- Alignment to the left indicates introversion and insight.

- Size indicates a person's ego

2. Body

- A larger head indicates a wish to be wise, sensible.

- normal legs indicate confidence, sense of stability.

- developed arms indicate good social activity

3. Male and Female

A person of the other sex is the projection of impression, opinion about opposite-sex person.

- Both male and female figures are about the same size and in general look very similar. This indicates that the person sees men and women as equals.


Seems pretty legit, doesn't it?)

North Korea says to enter "state of war" against South Korea: KCNA

North Korea said on Saturday it was entering a "state of war" with South Korea in a continuing escalation of tough rhetoric against Seoul and Washington after coming under international sanctions for its nuclear test.

"From this time on, the North-South relations will be entering the state of war and all issues raised between the North and the South will be handled accordingly," a statement carried by the North's official KCNA news agency said.

KCNA said the statement was issued jointly by the North's government, ruling party and other organizations.

North Korea has been threatening to attack the South and U.S. military bases almost on a daily basis since the beginning of March, when U.S. and South Korean militaries started routine drills, and has ordered its armed forces on the highest alert.

But the impoverished state has kept a joint industrial zone that is the source of hard currency where hundreds of South Korean workers and vehicles cross enter daily after crossing the rival Koreas' heavily armed border.

Few believe North Korea will risk starting a full-out war.

That awkward moment when...

Today at class I noticed N. seemed to feel sick. So I asked and she was like, "I feel sick all the time..." and I felt sympathy and quietly said "me too" and then she added: "soon it shall be obvious" and that's when I realized... I said "congratulations!" and felt really stupid...

I finally got around to really get to Part V. It's going steadily forward. I really like this stage, when you only have fragments and you just write down whatever comes to mind and don't worry about arranging it all too much. You surprise yourself like "where did this one come from?" This part should be longer and there'll be a lot to it. I quite like how it's coming along so far.
