A Collection of Resumes was really educational. It seems Mr. Tora and Mr.Saga have gender identity issues.

Tora did not state his gender and wrote his Top 3 Favorite 'Onee'! Now it's not so surprising he did that crazy good impersonation on Alice9Channel. While Saga stated he's neither male nor female... Which is not the first time he says that, by the way. I remember that comment where he said he's want to be reborn as Okama, while Tora said he'd want to try being a woman.

Kuroshitsuji: The Musicals

I safekept these two to watch at the right time and... the time has come.





I That Butler, Friendship
The first musical all in all was a disappointment. I really liked the cast, especially the lead characters, but even they were unable to save it. The plot was complicated and boring, the songs were lame and nobody could really sing apart form Sebastian. So basically looking at Sebastian and Ciel and Grell was the only good thing about it. I can't say it was bad, but I found it very lacking.


II The Most Beautiful Death in the World

Most of the cast remained the same, apart form Ciel and Bard but it was a completely different musical. The plot was pretty gay good, the songs were good, the stunts were good and overall the whole thing was well-balanced and enjoyable. I loved it. When I first heard about Kuroshitsuji being made into a musical it didn't seem to make sense but I think this musical was able to reproduce the anime's original atmosphere and humour very well.

Long-ass Post With Lots of Pictures

It's cool that they actually began from the beginning which wasn't really properly shown in the anime and I really like how the whole musical is basically staged as a chess game.

I really like the wide range of songs used, from opera to electric dance song of shinigami to Druitt's Queen-like song to enka song Sebastian ( ) sang for the Undertaker. The dancing is also pretty cool

The Cast

Certainly the most important part was the cast. And the cast was awesome. I was amazed how well the actors were able to fill their roles. Not only the lead characters, but nearly everyone was great, I especially loved Mei-Rin, Grell, William T. Spears, the Undertaker and the Viscount.

I think Matsushita Yuya was pretty much perfect for the role. He looked amazing, his acting is good, he's a pretty good singer (even with decent English!) and he did his stunts very well. Although his singing voice is pretty high, his speaking voice and intonations were perfect, really. And his general elegance and charm. You know, seriously - Sebastian Michaelis>Matsushite Yuya.

As for the Ciels... Sakamoto Shogo. At first I liked him, but it was pretty much from looking at him. His role was kinda small and honestly he can't really sing. On the other hand, at first I was biased against Yukito Niishi, mostly looking at the pictures but also a little because he's a Johnnies', but when I actually watched the musical I changed my opinion. Although his singing was weak, he played quite well, his expressions were very good and compared to Sakamoto Shogo he generally fit it better because of his face and age and Yuya could carry him easily and it was damn cute))



Also you have to notice that Yuya and Niishi have a great chemistry, on and off stage.




Uehara Takuya as Grell is fucking amazing. I'm not a big fan of Grell but Takuya is so fabulous you have to love him.



Fujita Rei was great as Viscount. Also him being half-French... Actually I couldn't shake off the feeling that I saw him somewhere before. And yes, yeas I did. And it was... fucking Princess Princess D. Hahahahahaha. Btw, Yousuke Crawford is also a half-breed.



Nagaoka Takuya as William Spears was brilliant. I have nothing to add, really, but he was awesome, ok? Shuhei Izumi also made an awesome Undertaker.



Other Notes:

Also it goes without saying but Alan and Eric were SO GAY for each other.
And boy, did the musical have LOTS of cross-dressing!
They actually reproduced The Corset Scene! ))))))))))))))))))

I also watched all of the DVD extras and I really enjoyed them. I was very impressed by the family-like atmosphere on the set. It was highly endearing watching how close everyone has become and how much everyone enjoyed being a part of KuroMyu. Fujita Rei bb was crying so much!

The Making of Kuroshitsuji II - Now that's some fantasy going wild! I really like the idea. A 'Making', behind the scenes footage, it was very funny and refreshing. But the part at the end, the 'trailer' one freaked me out for good. I bet the staff had a lot of fun making it)

Spider's Intention

Spider's Intention - I totally skipped Season II so I know little about this new household. That's why I decided I should at least watch this episode. From what I saw I felt really sorry for Alois and Claude seems just an evil bastard. But the dynamic is pretty interesting, I might just watch Season II one day. But I'm still all for Ciel and Sebastian.
