I was so glad I finally patched to 1.29 and set up the Stry Progression and other stuff but my joy was short-lived because it seems now I can use buy/buyld mode at all. That especially sucks as I was so hoping to do that special photoshoot. Now I guess I can only wait for Showtime to come out which is in about a month.
I had the loveliest erotic piece of a dream involving Chunjae. Damn, that was so hot. And looked really natural too. Oh, about a week ago I also had a Yoosu one, it was one short but very sexy bit. And I don't even read fanfics any more. I wish there were more dreams like that.
Alice9 Channel is a 1-hour show that's been airing on NicoNico monthly since September 2009. That's 28 episodes. Tora is the host and usually there are two guests in the studio except for the special public broadcasts with an audience in which cases all the members are present. The show started pretty normally with making promotions and reading fan letters but slowly it evolved into something freaky. Somewhere around the second year niconico staff began to 'force' the members play stupid and often sadistic games to earn the air time for their PVs and such.
Luckily the show gets subbed so all episodes starting from March 2010 are available with subtitles. (you need to have an lj account and enter the community to see the posts) aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/tag/alice9%20ch...
Of course there are too many episodes to write about each so I'll try to pick the most epic ones.
GO ON! March 29th, 2010 All 5 members gather to commemorate the Complete Collection release and the main theme is 'Gratitude'. In this episode: There's a corner where they're supposed to praise each other and Alice 9 fans learn the word 'mokkori', there's a surprise call from one of the guy's mothers which turns to be very touching and of course let's not forget Saga's famous Slipknot impersonation. aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/44272.html
May 10th, 2010 Hiroto and Nao are the guests but suddenly a strange person appears to congratulate Hiroto on his birthday and bring some chaos into the studio. There's also Doraemon drawings, squid dance and of course Nao's lame jokes. aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/47112.html
July 29th, 2010 Tora and his guests Shou and Saga tell amusing stories and the nicinico staff's bullying begins Saga becoming the first victim. aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/52260.html
September 7th, 2010 This one is absolutely epic. It was a public broadcast with all members present that was dedicated to the show's 1st Anniversary. It has lots of really amusing stories shared and most importantly the infamous prank on Saga where Tora barges into his parent's house. aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/54717.html
November 22nd, 2010 Tora and his guests Saga and Nao freak out big time with the "What's in the Box?" segment and everyone finds out what a scaredy cat the leader is. aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/58351.html
January 17th, 2011 Tora with Shou and Hiroto look back on their Budoukan concert and then play sugoroku. There's pain, embarrassment and lots of fun. Absolutely epic. I have to add this is the first one I watched and definitely one of my absolute favourites. The main reason probably being that Tora is absolutely brilliant here. Not only he looks gorgeous, but he's witty and sarcastic and just basically Tora at his best. aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/60237.html Bonus:
February 8th, 2011 There were two main topics of this show: Setsubun which the Japanese celebrate on February 3 and also the state examinations. That is why the boys are forced subjected to various questions and games. Tora is sharp, Nao is a star and Shou is gorgeous. aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/62356.html
May 21st, 2011 The broadcast happens to be around Saga's birthday so he's in for some surprises from the sadistic staff and fellow bandmate host) There's blowing off candles with a hose, answering a quiz on himself and tasting the cocktail lovingly prepared by his bandmates. aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/63522.html
June 26th, 2011 Another must see. Tora, Hiroto and Shou play a series of games that are supposed to improve concentration and reaction but are in fact just the usual bullying from the staff. The battle of rock paper scissors at the end is really something as Shou's amazing hidden talent is revealed. aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/65159.html
July 29th, 2011 This time it's Nao's birthday and Shou teams up with Tora to host the show and bring Nao to his utter misery. What's supposed to be the chance to redeem himself inevitably turns into sheer bullying. You better turn down the volume because it gets really loud. aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/66273.html
September 18th, 2011 The episode commemorated the show's 2nd Anniversary and sure enough it was more than epic. Incidentally it was also the day after the host's birthday so a big surprise was waiting for him. There was a show takeover, hand-me-down presents, some very exclusive footage and a royal battle of rock paper scissors. aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/67616.html
October 23rd, 2011 This time the guys were supposed to win time for airing their new PV that wasn't even finished yet. But it turned into sort of 'family games'. aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/68240.html
November 17th, 2011 Another one of my absolute favourites. The episode starts with Hiroto hosting since apparently Tora and Saga had a concert that day. Thus Hiroto, Shou and Nao are once again made to play sugoroku. This time the game is even more intense and dangerous and there are many turns along the way including surprise appearances, maid costumes, horse-headed guys with big paper fans and the abolishment of vocalist protection. aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/68560.html
January 16th, 2012 A9 have a new PV ready and that only means one thing: more torture from the staff! Nico nico staff's imagination is amazing as they keep inviting more pointless and sadistic games for the members of A9. Don't miss out the full-grown men making fools out of themselves to air the PV that they know will be aired anyway. aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/69104.html
Bonus: Visual Battle Royale 〜Natsu no Jin〜: July 31st, 2011 This isn't Alice9 Channel, but it's nico nico and it's a definite must see. The show hosted by Tora was a sort of competition between the visual kei bands of PSC. There was Vivid, Sug, Screw and Alice Nine, the latter being the oldest band there. It's a lot of fun to watch as the rest of the bands experience the kind of trials that A9 members usually goes through and the host is charming as hell. Also at the end there's a surprise appearance. aliceinrainbows.livejournal.com/66739.html
Well, of course there are just some of the best parts, there are many more good ones. Anyway, hope you find the post useful since I worked really hard on it)) Enjoy!^^
A visit from my Aunt from Italy and cousin kind of disrupted my weekend plans but it was kind of nice. They are some of the most sane members of the family. Even though some of the talks were pretty boring there were quite priceless ones too. Like the part about the cat and especially the stories of how my other cousin is super-popular among the gays of Rome and she has to always keep an eye on him because the local men might steal him.
This weekend is supposed to be my last time purchase do I better make it productive. I have lost of stuff I need to finish so I'll try to do as much as possible.
The A9 pimp post series repost to LJ? Finish the interviews Complete the A9 Facts post The Sims 3 guide Re-do the video Cut the Discotheque tour I also might as well begin preparing the Valentines special for the comm because it will totally take a lot of time and effort.
Our latest topic is personality traits. So the first thing Abe-sensei did was ask the words we know. Once other people said all the normal ones I said what came to my mind first - 'junsui' and 'kimagure'. Actually I also thought of 'tsundere' but I decided not to say it as to not freak out sensei since she already seemed pretty surprised at the first two.
I waited until the whole thing is confirmed and all before writing anything on the matter. So here goes.
I am quite surprised along with the rest. Firstly because it's Meisa Kuroki and secondly because I guess Jin isn't someone I expected to get married anytime soon. But then the pregnancy rumours would explain that part. But I really don't care whether it's the case. I'd actually get more respect for Jin if it is.
Truthfully until someone mentioned it I haven't thought abut poor delusional Akame fans. They must be desperate but then you know those kids are crazy enough to come up with a theory to justify that kind of stuff.
But anyway, just yesterday I was looking through Miyavi's twitter and all those pictures of his little daughters and I thought it was so endearing how much he loves them and proud of them. So I really hope it goes well for Jin too.
But surely I can treat it so lightly because I never was interested in Jin in the first place. If it happened to any of my boys... truthfully I don't even want to think about it.
Saved the game about 3 times today. Spent half an hour making up cool outfut and makeup for Sims, surely enough the game crashes before I save. He looks good in heels though. He should try it.
I think I mentioned to two people that I was going to watch it and both of them said they tried it before but were left unimpressed. Yet I couldn't believe it could be that boring. I mean the dorama is about learning Japanese, that alone should be enough. And so I decided to see for myself and I'm glad I did. Surely there are things that are lacking but overall I really enjoyed it.
If I were to talk about the stuff I didn't like, basically, I found most of the students highly annoying. Isn't not just that their acting sucks (I wonder if they took in all foreign students staying in Tokyo), but their characters and so shallow and just plain moronic it pisses me off. Marie, Russian girl Diana with a horrible accent and especially that ninja-loving Sweden girl. I wonder if it's the way the Japanese really see foreigners. As stupid lost little children.
But I have to say I myself do feel kind of sad thinking that no matter how well you speak Japanese or how well you know the traditions you will always be an outsider there. I love Japanese arts and stuff but it feels strange doing it myself. Like I think that a white woman in kimono looks weird. But enough about that.
Anyway, if the students were bad at acting, the teachers made up for it. But most of all surely it was a one-woman-show. I really liked Haruko. Her outfits are priceless. I mean it's something I would never wear but it looks great on her. And it's not just the way she looks, I really like her character. Charisma indeed. The actress did a great job. The bickering with Takasu-sensei is also priceless) As for the plot - overall it was the usual sappy and naive style but I was sobbing at the very end no less. The episode plots weren't that interesting, but every episode was connected with something about the Japanese language and its history so it was like a lesson in a way. I leaned a lot of interesting facts and in such a fun way. Surely it's one of the best aspects so the dorama would be hard to watch if you're not learning Japanese. To me at this stage it was just the thing though. 先生はカワイイ。♥ 大好き、先生!
Hiroto: During the (2005) tour, Tora and I always shared the same hotel room so we were always together. I found him to be a really straightforward, blunt kind of guy.
Interviewer: So you're saying he's got no other side to him, then?
Hiroto: Well it's like, there is, but there isn't, but there is, but there isn't. Like that.
Tora: Isn't there but is there, indeed. (laugh)
Interviewer: Well, which is it? (laugh)
Hiroto: His personality... just goes about with a straightforward manner.
Nao: In the beginning, I too thought Tora was the most cold-hearted member of the band, but during the live at AX (Alice in Wonderfilm)...why was I the only one who didn't ...Aaah, just talking about it makes me sad! Makes me feel like I'm actually the most cold-hearted guy... (laugh)
Shou: Because you're the only one who didn't cry.
Hiroto: The recording of the AX live came out on DVD recently, and it's like, during the last bit, everyone is collapsing into tears, hugging Tora and everyone and crying, but all they film of Nao is him with a serious face hitting the cymbals. (laugh)
Shou: He cried in the bathroom.
Nao: You said you wouldn't tell!! (laugh) lol)
Interviewer: Hahaha, Nao, are you really like that?
Saga: He's hopeless, really. (laugh)
Nao: Hey, guys, can't you say something nice?! (laugh)
I has to post it. Jaejoong shaking hands with the President. Two presidents, actually.
"When I entered the banquet, I was greeted by the Turkish president and President Lee Myung Bak, who greeted me saying, 'You came'. I was really nervous to be in such a position, but I eventually relaxed because everyone was so friendly and called me 'JJ', so I had a good time. Over these three days, many people told me how JYJ is really popular (here) - I hope to come back soon with the rest of my members to hold a concert."
