I woke up at about 12 and saw it was really sunny outside but of course I decided to snooze 'just a bit'. Next time I woke up it was 3 PM and it was cloudy and grey outside. "Shit! I did it again!" I thought. And dozed off. After awhile I woke up again and saw it's actually 1 PM and still sunny. Damn.

Ode to GEMINI

Still a little incoherent...

I've had this little dream for about half a year - ever since I heard the album - to hear this song live. Frankly I didn't have much hope - there already was a DVD released early this year and next year they might not be playing it. But then the 7th Theater came along and a promise of a DVD release including a live cut. So I waited patiently. And today it happened. The video was finally uploaded in good quality and I watched it. I watched the other songs first and was slightly disappointed - it was good but nothing special really so I began to worry that the live GEMINI might disappoint me, but little did I knew...

BEST. LIVE. EVER.
I've seen a lot of concerts and performances but this one, it was something amazing. I got goosebumps, actually I still do. It was simply breathtaking. Seriously I sort of feel like I had good sex. My body keeps tingling and I have this content dreamy look plastered on my face. Too bad there were 3 pauses but it can't be helped since they had to change guitars and such. All 5 of them were brilliant and especially Shou, he really showed what he's made of. I'm so proud of him. The only thing that kind of worried me is that I don't hink they would be able to write as soon as this because it's so... perfect. And here I thought I can't love them more and this is just...

Point 9: Reaching out to fans

I still have a few ideas floating around... And I'm not going to say they're both lead vocalists, that'd be super-lame.


Rather than this I noted how they are the members that care about their fans the most. Other guys might be nice and friendly but they won't necessarily go the extra mile to please the fans. But these two are really into it. Fanservice is also a part of this. This actually is a prerequisite of point 5 but whatever. Surely being nice to fans is a good thing. I hate artists who act like they're gods or something. Yet there's a different side to this. These people really depend on their fans, they are willing to do everything possible to please the fans and to feel loved by them. It's a strong addiction, really is. It always pained me a little about Jaejoong that somehow even though his family problems sorted out in a way it seems like he's very afraid of being alone, being abandoned. Shou is also like this to an extent. When a tour ends he becomes restless and can't wait for the next one. But the fact is both of them are really nice and kind, perhaps too nice for their own good.

I have some really wild mood swings these days. I go from depressed to hyper within a couple of hours. It's disconcerting. But you know, I kind of learned to deal with it. No matter how bad it gets I still think it's way better that being numb and relatively content all the time.

I got another laminated certificate. Gee, how cool. And where the hell did 32 hours some from? I mean, we only had 16 out of which I probably attended about 13. Whatever. I'm not even sure why I chose to hang out there. Awkward much. So I ditched the pathetic excuse for a bounenkai. Anyway, as I expected within this course I more or less worked out the basic strokes which is normal for this level. At least I got the Tree! THE TREE!XDD
Mission accomplished.

I have a new acquisition. It's a present actually. I'd never think of buying one because I'm too self-conscious. Really, I fear the era of video-calls. You can't even slack off at home) Welcome to the 21st century! So anyway, the ones I've seen before were kinda crappy with poor quality and time lag, but contrary to what I expected the quality is really good. I have to say it's not exactly good for my ego)) I mean it's not just a way for others to see you, it's actually a sort of live mirror))

Protect the Boss

So finally done with it. Me and mu mum struggled through it but... let's just say OCD runs in the family.

Anyway, this time I'll really try to make it short.
I stalled for a long time contemplating whether to watch it and if it wasn't for my mum I might never go for it. But this isn't saying that it's bad, just that it's quite average. Compared to Miss Ripley where the plot became quite engaging towards the middle but soon after got really lame with PTT is was moderately interesting from episode 1 to episode 18. But I think it's pretty good for a Korean drama to last whole 18 episode without the plot becoming awfully lame since usually I say most Korean dramas would become a lot better if you throw away episodes 11-15 or so)

But otherwise in terms of plot there isn't much to say. Everything is pretty standard. Four young people, a clumsy girl with a lot of dignity and lots of complicated feelings. Now for the characters. Unexpectedly I actually quite like Choi Kang Hee. I don't really like her character but there's something appealing about her. And I think her eyes was the main comical relief of the show. Jaejoong was pretty good except that I frowned all the time when he was on because his eyes were always bloodshot and he generally looked starved and sleep-deprived. My poor bb.

This dorama is also notable for a record number of on-screen kisses. I think there were about 5 or 6. And then then was that one fantasy scene with Jae that was kinda hot. One good thing to say about the show is that romantic interactions actually looked somewhat believable. It always annoyed me about Korean doramas - how pathetic and unnatural all the romantic scenes look. I find Cha Ji Heon quite annoying but that bed scene in Ep. 13 was really endearing. Seriously I think it was probably the most natural romantic scene out of all the Korean dramas I watched. The other couple was also pretty endearing in a way. Somehow I didn't feel even slightly jealous, I actually hoped they would end up together. Seriously thought I was secretly hoping MuWon might end up with his secretary - she's both smart and pretty but oh well. I'm quite satisfied with the ending.

Well, that's about all I was going to say. Or rather I should just post it before I think of something else)

Overall - not bad.
