I don’t wanna feel Blue anymore...
I don’t wanna feel Blue anymore...
I feel so crappy today. I got up earlier to attend calligraphy, but when I got there it turns out no class today. Just great. I had a slim hope of hanging out, but my only friend won't pick up the phone... ever. The game I've been playing for about a week finally proved to be unfit for me. Took me a lot of time to find it, download it , install it and when got to Level 5... total fail. Fuck this. I was going to make myself feel better by finally spending my hard-earned points at TSR, but it's not a good time since soon they're going to convert all of the content because of the new EP. Not to mention we ran out of traffic and for the next week we're forced to go on an internet diet.
Also today at night I need to repeat the highly disgusting procedure I did last week. I can't wait.

I don’t wanna feel Blue anymore...
Why did it have to happen? I finally found a good game to play and the graphics are cool and yet have of the time I have to spend in some cellars or catacombs fighting creepy monsters. I'm still not over giant rats and spiders, but undead? Really? Geez, I've already come a long way and now I don't even know what to do about it. I don't want to spend the next 5 hours of the game lurking in some mausoleums.
Why can't I just fight something normal for once? Like, humans maybe for a change?
Anyway, this sucks big time. So much time wasted. Once again, I quit.

Nao: first date, huh? I was in the first grade.
Shou: wow, you started early!
Nao: there was this girl who lived in the same complex as me…same grade, same class, we were close friends. Ever since I was little I’ve had a big heart, during school lunch I was always ‘oh, this is good,’ and ‘here, you should try this too’ (and share my food). We’d go home together and on the way we’d stop in a nearby park and sit, and….that’s a date, right?
Interviewer: sounds like one!
Nao: I had a dream back then of marrying that girl… Pure, huh.
Tora: I….haven’t been on a date yet. <= right. prolly the chicks drop their panties as soon as they see him.
Nao: what, like, you haven’t done something you’d call a ‘date’?
Shou: (I can hear the sound of) 10,000 Tora fans crying out…!
Tora: (the dates) start from now!
Interviewer: well then, what kind of dates will you go on?
Tora: something better than any dream (laugh)
Saga: my first date was in high school, but I never had any money, so I never knew where to go or what to do, so, there were a lot of instances of just karaoke, going to my room, and then…
All: (bust out laughing)
Tora: wtf do you mean ‘and then’?!
Nao: yeah, what’s ‘and then’??
Saga: well, er, and then we’d…go to karaoke. (laugh)
Interviewer: that’s suspicious…. Okay, what about you, Shou?
Shou: I didn’t have any interest in girls in junior high, but in elementary school, there was the ‘class Madonna’….I played with her a lot (and had a lot of enemies). Just taking a walk with her made me happy….!
Interviewer: wow. So, did you hold hands…?
Shou: nah, it wasn’t like that…but I told her I liked her. I think she told me she liked me, too.
All: Ooohhh!
Shou: Yeah, but when I asked her if she wanted to go to an amusement park, she told me someone already invited her to Disneyland, some rich kid. There’s no way I could’ve topped that…
Interviewer: so, that was the end of it then..
Nao: (the end!)
Interviewer: So, what about you, Hiroto?
Hiroto: third year of junior high, a super pure type of love…
Shou: that sticky-sweet, huh? (laugh)
Nao: wait, like, ‘there’s something else other than a pure kind of love’…? (laugh)
Hiroto: (grimace) no, see, I’d take her to see a movie, this girl I had feelings for…. After class we’d always walk home together, I’d go home and then change…
Tora: ‘and then’? (laugh)
Hiroto: I’D CHANGE (laugh), and then we’d go back out…take a walk holding hands in the sunset. ‘This is so peaceful…’ I thought. That’s how it felt.

I'm like a child learning to read. I feel empowered and I get excited and try to read everything I come across, but soon I get annoyed because I can only make out some parts. So I read a few sentences but then come across unidentified kanji and lose my patience so I end up with just small bits of information, like a news flash. But I don't have time to translate the whole thing and it makes me frustrated as hell.
Shou changed to silverish? But I liked us having the same colour!
Tora wants to go to Disneyland? How cute.
The same thing happens with videos where I often can understand the basic idea and get awfully curious, but can't understand the details and it annoys me greatly.

Since the courses started I've become that much more lazy. I just can't make myself do stuff at all. Even if it's kind of interesting. I don't mind essays, but it's so hard to make myself write them. And it's making me terribly guilty. The procrastination...
In other news I'm cooking dinner second night in a row. o_O

Yoochun being perverted Yoochun
Yoochun says something like: "Junsu's face looks innocent, but he has a secret and I'm going to show it..." And then proceeds to film his body. And Jaejoong tries to interfere by saying "Hey, there are kids under 20 here!" and tries to cover the camera with his pink Hello Kitty fan. XDD

I've been playing this game recently called "Guess who wrote the song". I'm actually not bad at it. It's pretty hard but one clue is that if a song sounds like American metal, then it's Tora.

This is old, but...

I got to this entry and I just went 'D'awwww~'
Basically Shou's saying that Hiroto performed at Jack in the Box with Karasu and he felt like a parent whose kid is having a Parent's Day at his school and he felt so bad since he couldn't go. I wanted to say: "No, Shou! Don't be so hard on yourself! You're a good Mum!" ))

Ouran Host Club
This is just something I found funny.
Atashinchi no Danshi
That is a classic. Why in so many Japanese dramas when boys fall in love they decide it’s a good idea to practice on their friends is beyond me. Featuring the epic cameo by Hard Gay.

I was so eager to study with my newfound interest in Japanese, but it seems like the things I get interested in and the things I need to study for my class are very different so I still end up slacking off. But anyway.
Lately I noticed that Shou's words and intonations are kind of different. I mean, he uses some slang and stuff and is difficult to understand in general, but there was just something about his language I just couldn't put my finger on. And so today finally I was watching one of my favourite moments from A9 Channel... and that's when I realized... He's using Kansai-ben!
Also just yesterday he wrote Tora-yan. I find it especially endearing because he doesn't seem to call anyone else this way)
Why the hell is the boy using Kansai-ben? Better yet: why the hell do I even recognize it? But I do think it sounds kind of cute.
The other funny thing happened when I read Nao's blog. "Do you know what 'Shibareru' means in Hokkaidou?" he wrote. "I bet you don't!" And shit! I thought because I actually do know.
I know it from when Yoochun and Changmin visited Sapporo back in 2008 I think and the hosts made them guess.
At that rate I might become a dialect expert.
Also, have a nice chart ^^

I don’t wanna feel Blue anymore...

I finally finished the last episode. What can I say? Definitely best drama of the year, scratch that - it might be my favourite drama ever.
For the last few years I have been watching mostly Korean dramas. I almost began to think Japan is losing the battle, but I was proven wrong. Actually, I don't quite remember how I came across IS, but it must have been serendipity. The pilot I was just curiously observing, but soon I absolutely fell in love with it. I'm very interested in things like gender identity but frankly when I downloaded the first episode I was worried that the topic of IS would be exploited just to draw attention to the drama. Thankfully it isn't like that at all. Everything is perfectly balanced and I got really drawn into the story. I was like: that's it! That's what I'm talking about!
