After watching Alice in Wonderfilm again yesterday I figured there are three main traits based on which the leader is chosen in Asian bands:

- Age
- Blood Type
- Ability to hold back tears

Then again her other 'most favorite' fic included the words "wedding dress" and "mommy" and it's just wrong in so many ways. Eek. I seriously can't decide which is more disturbing.

Today I discovered there's actually Givuss fanfiction. Haha. It's always intriguing to think about 'how it all started...' Even though the band existed for only about a year, they say it felt like three years because there was so much to it. In short Givuss feels like a stepping stone for Alice Nine and it feels good to know the boys shared a whole band before, it adds so much background. So today that drove me to take another net expedition. Obviously the only good reason for checking it out is that my two boys were in it but having listened to them all in all I think they were a decent band. Although in terms of image most of the pictures are so funny and embarrassing I can't look without a smile. Shou looks perpetually dumbfounded and Tora... no comment.

At first I didn't like their music but because of that one promo video I really grew to like 僕は此処にいる and today I finally downloaded their albums and I think most songs are ok. In terms of singing I think sometimes Shou sounded a lot like Ruki, then again before Ruki used to sound like Kyo, these things take time.

It's interesting I found out they actually still have a site though the encoding is completely screwed so only Profiles page works. Back then Tora still used his surname although technically the kanji still has 4 readings. Also I loled at Shou's 58.9 kg.

One thing that drives me mad is the fact that everyone mistrancsribes their album's titles:
Their demo-tape 十人賭色 should be read as juunintoiro which is a play on 十人十色. Shou sure liked them yojijukugo.
花鳥風月 is tough. Technically it should be read as kachoufuugetsu while the track on the album is called Hana Tori Kaze Tsuki. But seems like even on official posters for some reason it's transcribed that way. At least they got the idea of 能音楽、無生命 right. Trust Shou to come up with such titles.

Sims life

I abstained from Sims 3 for a month or two, but now I'm really into it again. Really, it might begin to get boring after awhile, but that just means you lack imagination.
Once more, it's almost creepy how Sims act like their RL prototypes. Shou keeps getting tons of flowers from the ladies to the point when they fight for him. He also flirted with Saga the other day and now with Nao even though he NEVER flirts his girl friends.
Also lately Shou wakes up all the time and can't sleep with Tora (even though technically he doesn't have the Light Sleeper trait). Actually seems like no one can sleep with Tora in the same room now and I've no idea why. It's really annoying.
Even more amusing: several days into the game and Saga knocked up a Chinese chick. AND they aren't even going out. Well, at least she's pretty.

I still don't have Hiroto. Idek, although I discovered jamming is possible with two guitarists, the band can only have 4 people AND no vocal.
Anyway, I feel there's a lot of fun ahead.

I re-watched the DISCOTHEQUE Tour, the latter half with my Mum. It was fun, I knew she'd grew to like the boys. We spent half of it laughing, I kept pretending to be appalled by her comments, but it's fun actually. Laughing our asses off at Saga trying to be sexy and Hiroto trying to look tough. XDD Also in the end I showed her my video but she didn't really say anything. Later though she passed a comment along the lines of "why would they even need girls, they seem fine as it is". Huh.

Since I'm already up at this ungodly hour I'm gonna tell what kept me up late last night. I found an awesome TxS fic. Really, I kind of lost hope of finding any, but apparently miracles happen since last night I wasn't even exactly looking for it. Anyway, it was just the kind I wanted to read. It's very well-written and I absolutely love the characterization, especially that of Shou and Saga the smug bastard. I kind of hoped there would be a beautiful NC at the end, but oh well. The plot feels like a classic despite the fact that I haven't read anything similar. But the funny thing is it's a lot like that one fic I began writing, some parts are amazingly similar. Which only proves the theory! XD The fact actually discouraged me a bit since I know I can never write as good as her. I even forgive her her other works.
It just it into my absolute favourites. It gives me hope there might be more out there.

M1, Go!

Had my first Japanese class yesterday. The good news is - we got the best teachers. The not so good news is - we're gonna study on the 6th floor for now. I dunno if it's wrong but I never felt we're a team, on the contrary I feel like everyone are rivals. In a way I enjoy seeing that people give up and there are less and less of us left. Kind of like The Last Survivor. Everyone I was more or less friendly with has left. In the past the people I hung out with were not as good as me so I even let them copy my answers at tests just to have someone left to talk to. There's just this one girl that I at least talked to for more that 3 minutes in these 3 years, but I fell she most likely won't go on for long. I know I'll never be the best just because I'm not going to study like crazy, but I want to be among the best. I never got top results at tests, but my score remained stable while everyone else's plummeted. Anyway, the first class was scary. I felt confident before, but now I feel like I don't know shit. From now on nobody will care whether the stuff was in the book or not, now we're on our own. I really forgot the how once studying becomes something you must do you can't make yourself do it at all. Here I am writing this stuff instead of doing the test.

Just redownloaded MoonChild in original quality and burnt it to DVD. That's cool. Also for the first time in those 6? years I accidentally looked it up in the dictionary (yes, that actually happens) and now I feel so stupid.

I feel like half of the comm are 16-year olds. It's weird. I don't want to be an old elitist bitch, but even with flailing there's a certain level. But the NC-17 written by a 16-year old just now was damn good. I feel guilty. Right now translating that manga, it's only 3 pages long, but making out the tiny kanji is a bitch...

I was really worried I might get bored with them quickly, but luckily that doesn't seem to happen. They might seem pretty average, but little by little I discover new sides to them and it excites me. Reading the blogs for all of the 7 years I'd missed... there's so much to it. The music... I also discover it little by little. Today unexpectedly I fell in love with 暁.

Finally submitted the new items I have made. Pimpin' my Visual Kei collection. Even if we might not have proper animations, the pose player is cool. Lately I really like enjoy the photoshoots. Shou seems to like posing. Camwhoring is his forte after all! XDD

I was really excited about this when reading a translation, but after seeing the original tweets I was quite disappointed. It's not that the translation is incorrect, but it really made things sound a lot more intriguing than they are...

No, I'm not done yet.



Actually, since JYJ Jaejoong doesn't really space out anymore. He became the leader and most of his fail just disappeared all of a sudden. I even sort of miss it a bit. But anyway. Shou doesn't space out as embarrassingly as Jae, but he does have this completely blank expression you really can't help but wonder what goes on in that head of his.
