I love old idol specials and recently there were quite a few. Yesterday I watched Come To Play one. They were having fun like little kids. All the bickering is really funny. And the army talk was priceless. Not to mention the stories of old... Poor Tony.
MOREI love the part where TaeWoo said HOT's name doesn't make sense and HeeJun was like "You only tell me this after 16 years?" Do these kids ever grow up?
Come to think of it it was mostly funny to watch because of HeeJun. The way he grabbed the bean paste! And worried about his hairy legs...
But even more than that...
What man would admit to that? But they make a good duo with JiWon)) 15 years ago fans would never believe this.
I don't get this whole precognitive dream thing, but it sure is fun! XDD
Junsu: My mother said she was walking on the road and a farmer came by with a bundle of fruits and there was a really big peach and a bunch of big grapes. So, she kind of thought she was going to have twins. But since one was a peach she thought that one was going to be a boy and the other a girl, but we were born as male twins. MC: Were you the peach or the grape? Junsu: Uhhh... Jae: If you look at Junsu's butt it seems he was the peach!
* fans begin chanting: "Show Us!"*

We are curious as to what Park Yoochun and Park Yoohwan’s mother’s precognitive dreams were to have given birth to such handsome sons. Park Yoohwan said, “That dream? Wait. Let me ask my mom,” and took out his phone. After their conversation, Park Yoohwan gave a clear explanation, “She said she dreamed of holding an oyster, shining as bright as jewels, in her embrace near a pond in a cave. But she said oysters usually mean it’s going to be a girl.” Following this, he also said, “The precognitive dream my mom had of my brother was that she dreamt of holding a banana the size of her arm in her embrace as it hung for a tree. So she thought she was having twins, but it ended up that it meant that she was going to have another son, not twins. If it wasn’t for that banana, I might have been born a girl.”
So in the end in their mother's dreams Yoosu were represented as a huge peach and a huge banana! XDDDD
I Majored in English and I've been learning it most of my life, but that doesn't mean I'm anywhere near perfect. Sometimes I mess up tenses and verb forms. But I still learn, I look up words and usage and other things as well. I remember even watching a video last year about the correct plural form of the word 'octopus'.
Today I looked up 'no one' and 'any more' which I often used incorrectly in the past. Besides I'm still kind of exploring the topic of my Master's work: which is British vs. American. I decided to use British whenever I write in English which is a little hard since apart from people who are actually from the UK everyone is using the US version and sometimes even the British get confused from too much US version exposure. At least I finally got around to adjusting my Spell-Checks.
I have to say Tony's comeback is a little disappointing. The music is not so good, but it has a good feeling to it. And I like the MV for Top Star. I'm glad he can stay positive and carry on after the death of his father. Anyway, as I was looking for stuff I came across this mini-drama. It's hilarious and Tony looked so good at the time. And he resembles Yoochun so much.
Also I just checked some info on JTL. It seems so painfully familiar.
When the group debuted in 2001 with single "A Better Day", member Tony An claimed that promoting their song has had been difficult due to strained relationship with Lee Soo Man, the producer of SM Entertainment. Lee blocked the music video from various Korean entertainment broadcasts which drew angry reactions from the group's fans, some of whom egged the building of the company in southern Seoul. The members of the group also had strained relationships between Kangta and Moon Hee Jun after the two chose to stay with SM Entertainment.
HeeJun walked away pretty soon too. KangTa though is now one of SM's main shareholders. It's one hell of a coincidence that not only JTL consisted of 3 members, even the name was made up by the initials (I still don't get how exactly though? Who's L?) History goes in spirals.
It's amazing how you can get a dozen of really nice comments and it makes you fell nice, but then one comment from some stupid bitch gets you all worked up in an instant. On top of that seems like someone hotlinked my precious gif somewhere very crowded and now I risk exceeding my bandwidth.
The biggest entertainment companies in Korea have joined together to create one massive management agency known as “United Asia Management.”
All of the artists under SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, KeyEast, Star J Entertainment and AMENT will now be managed under the company in their endeavors including movies, dramas and all other entertainment content production.
The six companies came together to share their business know-how and network so that they can advance the Hallyu wave into an Asian Pop Music wave all around the world.
Also, while this is not a conversation that I had with Jaejoong himself, I have heard Jaejoong say to a reporter in our café as follows. I don’t know if there was an article on this, but because this is something that Jaejoong said without an embargo during an interview with a reporter, I don’t think there will be a big problem if I relay them, so I will transfer what Jaejoong said unchanged.
“We were working without even time to rest in Japan, but there was a time when there was a one-day vacation, just one day. So, in order to meet with the former members, I asked in the middle through a friend to arrange a meeting, and I came to Korea. It was a vacation of just one day. The vacation was going to be over just by coming in and going out of the country, but despite that, in order to see them without fail, I came to Korea by plane, without even sleeping. But, ultimately, they would not meet with me, and I went back to Japan again.”
I cannot forget the expression on Jaejoong’s face, who was saying those words to the reporter. I could read, from that expression, what kind of a person Jaejoong was. I feel careful in talking about this… and I don’t know the details, but It seems that Jaejoong put in a lot of effort in order to meet with his former friends.

Sadly, it doesn't even surprise me. I tried to be understanding to both sides, but now I don't want to even bother. Lawsuit is one thing, but this... Have they sold their souls to SM?
I got my first clothing request. It feels so nice. So far I only got a couple of items posted, but I have so many ideas I don't know what to work on. It's the same as with fanvideos and fanfics and everything else. Sometimes I really wish I had fewer ideas so I wouldn't be so swamped.
I feel kind of retarded since before today I hardly ever used it. Anyway, someone fianlly uploaded an mp3 rip of the Levay DVD, but the tracks' titles are all in Korean so I made an attempt to translate. And in most cases I succeded. But hey the song used at the presentation is called "Shit stained pig tail"
Now I have to figure out what to do with other rips I have. Honestly I felt slightly disappointed at end of the DVD. I'm not sure how many concerts there were, but at the one they filmed I'm pretty sure something went wrong with the sound because the last two songs are off. I mean I have a recording fro another concert and it sounds very good, but in the DVD the vocals and the music are definitely off. Such a shame since I really like 'I Missed You'.
"Even if my neck bleeds from singing and my body breaks from dancing, I cannot abandon the stage. If it’s a situation where I can’t completely enjoy, let’s scream until my neck explodes. Let’s see how far our voices and our shouts will spread. Let’s sing in that way." Jaejoong
Now that I'm not in a such bitchy mood I can write this. I haven't seen much and I can't be bothered to watch every damn fancam, but from what I've seen:
Yoochun's haircut is fucking horrid. Wtf, is that helmet?
I listened to the new songs and I quite like them. I'm very glad they pretty much developed their own unique style. They're still somewhat RAW, but at that pace they'll keep improving very fast. I see Jae seriously took to composing.
My faint hope of new choreography for I Love You and -- is crushed. The chicks aren't horrible like before and Asian, but now it looks even more vulgar. I really don't get it. On the bright side I saw Get Out and the dance was kinda cute.
LOL at Junsu's parents dancing along.
Most of the costumes I've seen are hideous. Even the T-shirts look uglier than usual. I find it so hard to believe Jae chose them. His were better than the rest though.
Thai are fucking loud. Pisses me off so much. On some fancams you can hardly hear anything at all. And judging by the voices most fans are, like, 12.
Overall: not very impressed. I mean I haven't expected much in the first place, but this is how I feel. But then maybe half of the reason is because they don't look that good lately. It would be a lie trying to deny that the main reason why I like T tour more than the 'O' tour is Yoochun's haircut.
I read very little fics these days simply because I keep to my standards and there isn't much to choose from anyway. I guess wedspawn is pretty much the only good ficwriter who was active before I came into the fandom and is still there. But truthfully I haven't been hoping to see her write anything that would interest me. But here she has proved me wonderfully wrong. I really like the fic. I mean not only it is Yoosu, it's... actually rather than saying it has all the things I like, I say it has none of the things I hate. Sure it's a bit overdramatic, but by her standards it's pure fluff))
I'm kinda glad I don't spend as much time reading fanfics, but at least one good story per month would be good enough)
My work has not gone unnoticed. I was offered a mod position. I'm on the stage of negotiations right now. I do want to be a mod, but I already have so many other fandom-related things to do. Idek.
Here it is. My copy of Music Essay. I wasn't sure whether to get it and even after receiving it I was somewhat disappointed at the quality of paper and the lack of pictures. But that doesn't mean I regret buying it. To me it wasn't a question whether it's worth the money, it was rather a question of loyalty. It wasn't heavily advertised and even the cover is ridiculously simple, but this little notebook felt so deeply personal, just like the music stashed in it. I battled with myself for some time: "Are you sure you need this? Isn't this seemingly simple and personal feel just another marketing technique?" But in the end I decided "Whatever. As if I could even resist them. Let this be the symbol of my leap of faith." At least I have cool Too do Lists)
Note: When I read the credits to Mission my first thought was: "Lyrics by Zuno? WTF?" and my second thought was: "Thank God it's not Yoochun!" XDD
